Invincible is coming back to our screens with its season 3 set to release in early 2025. Until now, in both seasons we have seen Mark and other superheroes go against multiple villains but there has to be one who is the strongest among them. So, with this article, let’s talk about the 10 most powerful villains in Invincible. Also, we have ranked them from weakest to strongest.

10. Flaxans

Flaxans were the first time Mark and the Guardians of The Globe stood against a major enemy. However, Earth’s atmosphere made them age so fast that they started to die almost instantly. Watching this, the Flaxans retreated only to return later in the series equipped with anti-aging tech.

Even after this, Invincible and his team defeated them rather easily. However, Omni-Man had other plans. He flew into their portal and purged their entire planet since no one except the Viltrumites could take over Earth.

9. Doc Seismic

Doc Seismic appeared in the first season of Invincible. He is a mad scientist who uses hi-tech bangles that give him the power to create serious seismic activity. When Atom Eve and Invincible fought him for the first time, they defeated him and after he fell into a crack on the ground into magma, he was thought to be dead.

However, he emerged again but this time with an army of Magmanites but that did not help him much either since he was once again defeated.

8. The Lizard League

The Lizard League has always been treated like a joke in Invincible but in Season 2, we get to see just how dangerous they can be. We see that when most of the Guardians of The Globe are heading towards Mars to stop an invasion, the Lizard League attacks the Wyoming Military Base. Rex Splode, Dupli Kate, and Shrinking Rae respond to the attack but together the Lizard League is pretty strong.

Komodo Dragon kills Dupli Kate and swallows Shrinking Rae. Rex is the only standing hero and manages to kill off the Komodo Dragon saving the life of Rae. However, he is gravely injured and gets shot in the head by King Lizard. After being shot, Rex didn’t die and took down King Lizard.

7. The Mauler Twins

The Mauler Twins are one of the constantly recurring villains in Invincible. Even though most of their plans do not go through as they plan, they are not to be underestimated. The Mauler Twins are experts at genetic cloning and whenever one of them dies, the surviving one just creates a clone of himself completing the pair. They are also the ones who helped Robot build a body for himself and are also responsible for turning Angstrom Levy into a psychotic villain.

6. Machine Head

Machine Head might not be the strongest villain in Invincible but he was rich with resources. He was essentially a crime boss who used to take advantage of Titan’s need for money and make him do terrible things. Titan talked about this to Invincible asking for his help to free himself from the clutches of Machine Head.

However, when Invincible went in to take down Machine Head he was met with serious resistance from Battle Beast which almost got him and his team killed if it was not for Omni-Man.

5. Angstrom Levy

Angstrom Levy used to be a good guy and in his pursuit of saving the multiverse he took help from the Mauler Twins and that is when things went bad. The machine that was supposed to help Angstrom backfired and caused a massive explosion which resulted in the consciousness of all his multiversal variants getting combined into him.

This turned Angstrom into a psychotic villain who blamed Invincible for everything that had happened to him. Levy was also the first person Invincible killed which is a big deal in Invincible’s arc.

4. The Sequids

Sequids are a massive threat in the Invincible universe mostly because of their numbers. Martians were safe from Sequids because of their shape-shifting capabilities but once a Sequid manages to find a host for itself, it poses a great threat to everyone even the Martians.

In Invincible, astronaut Rus Livingston got taken over by a Sequid and after wreaking havoc on Mars, he started approaching Earth to take over the planet. That is when Guardians of The Globe stepped in and saved Livingston’s life. However, the Sequid threat is not completely neutralized and they will be back in Season 3.

3. Omni-Man

Omni-Man has been one of the greatest villains Mark has to stand against. In the fight where he was trying to get Mark on his side and for him to assist Omni-Man in taking over Earth, he destroyed more than half of the city and killed hundreds of people within minutes. Not just that he almost killed Mark but before he could do that, he just flew away.

Later we got to know that Omni-Man had a change of heart and now, he is on the good side and might even team up with Mark at some point in Invincible Season 3.

2. Anessa

Anissa is a Viltrumite who came to Earth to negotiate with Mark so that he would surrender the planet to Viltrumite possession. However, when Mark refused, she attacked him and Invincible could not stand his ground against her even for a couple of minutes.

While they were fighting, she also killed a Kaiju and saved a ship full of people. She promised Mark that if Earth peacefully submitted to Viltrumites, things like this would become a thing of the past. However, Mark refused, and Anessa promised her return before leaving the planet.

1. Battle Beast

This might be an unpopular opinion but Battle Beast is the most powerful villain that exists in both the Invincible comics and the TV show. Even though Battle Beast only appears once in the series, it is enough to show us how powerful an enemy he is.

He was able to take down the entire Guardians of The Globe single-handedly in the series. In the comic books, Battle Beast has killed multiple Viltrumites and numerous superheroes on Earth as well only to be taken down by the main villain of the comics, Thragg.
