- Allen The Alien is the strongest character in Invincible so far.
- Initially, he was not strong and was easily defeated by the Viltrumites.
- After he recovered, he became much stronger and made a Viltrumite bleed which means he is now the strongest character in the series.
If you are a fan of shows like The Boys, Invincible is one you cannot miss under any circumstances. This series brings all the violence and gore paired with an interesting storyline. Invincible has already come out with two seasons and a third season is set to release soon. However, you might wonder who is the strongest character in Invincible. So, to give you the answer to that question, let’s talk about the 15 most powerful characters in Invincible ranked from least to most powerful.
15. Shapesmith
Shapesmith is the newest addition to the Guardians of The Globe. He was a Martian who escaped Mars by shapeshifting into one of the astronauts who arrived on the planet. In the series, he is trying to blend in but suffers to do so and ultimately decides to become a superhero. However, Cecil almost immediately figures out his identity when an attack from Mars is imminent.
Shapesmith might just be the weakest superhero on the team since he is amateur when it comes to being a superhero and he is neither strong nor possesses the intelligence to compete with other heroes or superpowered villains.
14. Damien Darkblood
Damien Darkblood is a demon straight from hell who is probably the first detective in the world. Since he is a literal demon, he is strong and can collect intel just by touching a piece of evidence. However, his presence was short since he was a threat to Omni-Man and to the secrets GDA keeps for “the greater good”. Darkblood was exorcised by Cecil and his men and was sent back to hell. However, in the end, his suspicions about Omni-Man turned out to be true.
13. Titan
Titan is neither a hero nor exactly a villain. He does bad things, yes, but for the sake of his daughter which allows us to cut him some slack. Titan can grow a solid shell around himself which gives him strength and also protects him from almost every small weapon.
He was introduced to us as a villain but as it turns out, he was forced to do bad things. Invincible and his team helped Titan free himself from the clutches of his boss Machine Head. However, in the process, Invincible was almost killed.
12. The Mauler Twins
The Mauler Twins are recurring villains in Invincible but are rarely successful in their schemes. However, they are not to be underestimated. Together they have enough muscle to stand their ground against almost anyone. On top of that, they are experts in cloning.
When one of the brothers dies, the other one makes a clone and the pair is back. This also gives rise to a constant conflict between the twins regarding who among them is the original on,e which is hilarious to witness.
11. Rudy “The Robot”
Rudy or The Robot is probably one of the most complex characters in Invincible. Initially, we all thought that he was just an android but later it was revealed that he is way more than that. In truth, Rudy was a deformed human who was remotely controlling the android but later on, using Rex Splode’s DNA, he created a body for himself and took the name of Rudy.
He might depend on machines and technology but his intellect gives him an upper hand on almost everyone. Without his team, any villain can best him in combat. However, his function in the team is to be their brains which he carries out wonderfully, making him one of the strongest characters in Invincible.
10. Angstrom Levy
Angstrom Levy started as a good guy who wanted to save the multiverse, however, he attempted to get help from the Mauler Twins and it did not go as planned. Invincible thought that the twins were working on something bad and came in to stop them which combined the minds of all of Levy’s variants and turned him into a psychotic villain with the power to teleport through numerous timelines.
He caused a lot of trouble for Mark but at the end of the day, Levy was killed by him. Levy was the first time Mark had killed someone so it was a pretty big deal for the character arc of Invincible.
9. Cecil Steadman
Cecil is the head of the GDA (Global Defence Agency) and probably the most dangerous man on the face of Earth. He does not have any superpowers but almost all the superheroes fear him for what he is capable of by exploiting the weaknesses each of them has.
Cecil has gone to the extent of using DA Sinclair’s creation of inhumane cyborgs to slow down Omni-Man. Sure, he can’t fight against supervillains one-on-one but the massive fleet of tech and superhumans he has to back him up makes him a powerful character in Invincible.
8. Rex Splode
This might be controversial but Rex Splode has grown as one of my favorite characters on Invincible. In season one, Rex was rather insufferable but there has been a lot of growth in his character. Rex can charge up things and make them act like explosives, almost like Gambit.
We get to see the extent of capabilities Rex has in Invincible Season 2 where he takes down the most powerful members of the Lizard League singlehandedly. He took down King Lizard even after being shot in the head proving that even though he is not the strongest superhero out there, once he taps into the dawg in him, Rex is a lethal guy.
7. Atom Eve
When we talk about superpowers, Atom Eve by far has the most unique set of those. She can fly and change the atomic structure of anything she wishes to. This means that she can turn anything into anything she wants.
However, even though she is one of the most powerful characters in Invincible, her life in general is filled with issues that often interfere with her life as a superhero. Because, no matter how strong you are if you are in a bad place mentally, it makes you weak.
6. Invincible
Okay, I know that Mark is the lead protagonist of Invincible but as of now, he is far from being the strongest character in the series. Even though he is the son of Omni-Man, his strength is far less than his father as of now, mostly because of his human side.
Except for a few, Invincible has lost almost every fight he has been a part of and had to be saved by his friends. Even though he is supposed to be the strongest superhero on Earth after Omni-Man, he is nowhere close to it.
5. The Immortal
The Immortal is one of the oldest and most ferocious members of the Guardians of The Globe. Most of his powers are similar to Omni-Man, but he can be killed if someone cuts his head off.
Previously, The Immortal was thought to be dead but he came back. Now, he is looking after the new team of heroes along with Black Samson and might have a much greater role in fighting against the Viltrumite invasion Anissa had promised in Invincible Season 2.
4. Anissa
Anissa is a Viltrumite who came to Earth to negotiate the planet’s surrender to the Viltrumite siege. She attacks Mark and after a fight where he almost dies, she ends up saving a ship full of people from a Kaiju attack. She uses her save as an example for Mark that if Viltrumites took over the planet, things like these attacks would never happen again. However, Mark refuses to surrender. She leaves the planet promising her return to take over the Earth with force which we will see in Invincible season 3.
3. Omni-Man
You might think that Omni-Man should be at the top of this list, but trust me when I say he is not the strongest. Yes, he is extremely powerful and can take down almost every hero on Earth but some characters can beat Omni-Man.
We have seen that Omni-Man is practically invulnerable. However, in Invincible Season 2, when he fought other Viltrumites, even after standing his ground for a very long time, he was defeated and captured. Other than that, there are characters like Battle Beast who have been known to take down multiple Viltrumites and can defeat Omni-Man as well.
2. Battle Beast
Battle Beast has appeared in only one episode of Invincible but this character is not to be underestimated. Battle Beast is one of the most powerful characters in the Invincible comic books and took down the entire Guardians of The Globe, killing some of them with a single blow of his hammer.
He also has some Viltrumites on his kill list. However, Battle Beast was killed by the villain of the Invincible comics, Thragg. If we ever see Battle Beast fight against Omni-Man, there is a high chance he will defeat Omni-Man.
1. Allen The Alien
I might get a little hate for this but hear me out. Allen the Alien has grown to be the strongest character in Invincible and I can prove that. When Allen first fought the Viltrumites, he was almost killed and couldn’t stand his ground for a good minute.
However, when he healed, he came back much stronger and the level of his strength was unknown to us. When he fought against the Viltrumtes again, he made them bleed and their blows didn’t affect him much. The Viltrumites didn’t capture him, he got himself captured to convince Omni-Man to fight alongside him and Thaedus against the Viltrumite empire.
There has been no other character in the series except Omni-Man who can make a Viltrumite bleed so it’s safe to say that Allen has grown to become the strongest character in Invincible.
