5 Most Annoying Marvel Rivals Characters That Players Hate Already

Marvel Rivals, the newly released 6v6 multiplayer game is taking a swing at the hero shooter genre, rivaling the likes of Overwatch with a great player count already. While the gameplay is fun, not all Marvel Rivals characters are balanced enough to face. These overpowered and unfair heroes always make the player’s game experience a virtual hell. In this list, we have compiled the most annoying characters in Marvel Rivals the players already hate for various balancing reasons.

1. Jeff The Land Shark

Despite being the cutest character in Marvel Rivals, this little monster is hated by everyone, and I mean, everyone. In almost every game I’ve played in the last three days, Jeff has been a constant and frustrating nuisance in my games. He can heal players like no other Strategist in Marvel Rivals and give free boosts at free will.

But what makes this cute monster the most annoying character in Marvel Rivals is his ultimate. Jeff can eat everyone in his ultimate and do whatever he wants. And well, almost in every game from the beginning, I was thrown off the map after being eaten alive.

2. Iron Fist

If it was not for Jeff’s ultimate ability, Iron Fist would take the crown for being the most annoying character you can face in Marvel Rivals. Unlike other Duelists in Marvel Rivals, he is too tanky and can take down anyone in a few clicks. If you are playing one of the strategists, you will always have to be ready for a fist-flank.

With the game’s visual indicators not being responsive enough, you might not even notice when an Iron Fist player comes in and goes after killing you. His movement makes him an impossible target to kill and players hate facing him, with many asking for a nerf to the character.

3. Loki

Although the strategists are already too good as heroes in the game, their weakness is how squishy they are in terms of their HP pool. Well, that’s where Loki comes in clutch and takes the crown of being a hated character in Marvel Rivals. He is literally an unkillable support player.

Loki can summon countless illusions that also deal damage to enemy heroes. In such a fast-paced game, prioritizing the illusions first can always feel risky. The worst part is that Loki can also teleport between his illusions, making it impossible to target him in Marvel Rivals. And if that was not enough, he can go invisible and heal allies.

4. Venom

While Venom is not exactly a broken character, he is hated for his overpowered shield with a low cooldown. He can easily swing in and out of fights and deal constant damage despite being a Vanguard in Marvel Rivals. This makes him one of the strongest tanks in-game who can be a meat shield and destroy enemies with damage as well.

It can get frustrating fighting an enemy Venom who can regenerate 100% of lost health into bonus health every 15 seconds. If you love playing tanks, try Venom and you can also be the annoying meat shield against any enemy team in Marvel Rivals.

5. Psylocke

Psylocke is one of the strongest Duelists in Marvel Rivals. Her damaging skills and normal attacks aren’t as broken as the others. However, when it comes to the movements, she is the most annoying character to deal with in Marvel Rivals. She can dash in and out of fights which comes with a little cooldown.

But it is not the only annoying thing about her kit. She can also go invisible; leaving no trace for the enemies to track. It also helps her set up her ultimate ability. Her ultimate can melt down enemies within seconds. However, the part that all players hate is this character becomes invulnerable while using the ultimate in Marvel Rivals.

Apart from these five characters, here are a few honorable mentions; these heroes in Marvel Rivals feel annoying to face but aren’t as overpowered. Cloak and Dagger is one of the most hated heroes due to the amount of utility they bring to the table. With constant ability to heal self and ally along with huge damaging skills, they are also the best S-tier hero in our Marvel Rivals tier list.

Hawkeye can also be a huge headache from a distance, especially if you are a support or hero with a low HP. His charged normal attack can one-shot 200 HP characters which seems unfair in a game with no global healing. Spider-Man is a hard character to master but if there are good Spidey players, get ready to be KO’d every time he swings in. The frustrating part? He can swing out after finishing you off.

These Marvel Rivals characters need balancing changes to make them less hated by players. Until then, I hope to stay away from them. Which Marvel Rivals character do you find the most annoying? Let us know in the comments.
