Micromax has launched Canvas A88 Music bundled with JBL tempo headsets at a price of 8499 INR. The headphones are really good in terms of sound quality with nice cushion padding for ear providing quality bass and noise cancellation. The phone has a 4.5 inch TFT screen with 1 GHz dual core MediaTek processor. The rear facing camera is a 5MP sensor with dual LED flash which can shoot videos at 720p HD, the front camera is a VGA camera. The phone comes with 4 GB internal storage expandable up to 32GB via micro SD card and 1800 mAh Li-ion battery.
Only thing that disappoints is 512 MB RAM. The phone comes out of the box with android 4.1 jelly bean. Aggressive marketing and low price has turned the tables of fortune for Micromax and it is becoming a tough rival to big brands like Samsung, Sony and Nokia at budget smart phone market.
