Marvel Zombies Ending: What Happens to Kamala?
By the end of Marvel Zombies’ finale episode, we see that the remaining heroes join forces to hold off Wanda and her army from reaching the Infinity Hulk. The battle they walk into is a given suicide mission. The action sequences we see in the final episode are a masterclass in animation, telling us that all Marvel needs to do is lock in. We see that Wanda has to touch the Infinity Hulk to absorb the combined power of the Infinity Stones and become absolutely untouchable and all-powerful, essentially, the queen of a world now ruled by the dead.
Even though the heroes display unimaginable valor in battle, they are all eventually taken out. The only survivor appears to be Kamala. She is offered a chance to restore the world to how it was by joining forces with Wanda. Kamala gives in and takes Wanda’s hand, which leads to a massive blast, and as she opens her eyes again, she is in her room and everything is back to normal, with Riri and Kate being alive. However, just when she thinks everything is back to normal, she starts having flashes of being surrounded by the undead. She sees Riri, armed to the teeth, yelling at her that it’s not real.
In the ending sequence of Marvel Zombies, Kamala has been trapped in a vision by none other than Wanda. It looks like Wanda did to Kamala what she did to herself in WandaVision, where she created the perfect world for herself.
