Who would know it? It’s already been one year since Marvel Rivals launched in Closed Alpha Test. While the OG players had their run of the game, newer folks have surely missed out on some stuff which includes the game’s first Battle Pass. Well, in celebration of its one year anniversary, NetEase Games is reintroducing the Marvel Rivals Season 0 Battle Pass for a limited period.
Announced in a dev blog, the Marvel Rivals Season 0 Battle Pass will be available from May 15 to May 29 and will cost players 590 Lattice, or about $6. Do note that there is no free reward track, so the pass must be bought to enjoy the rewards. Fortunately, the Battle Pass will not expire, so you can unlock stuff at your own pace!
The Season 0 Battle Pass will include exclusive cosmetics such as the Galatic Claw for Black Panther, God of Magic for Doctor Strange, and Galactic Wings for Mantis. This connects directly to the new and upcoming Galacta’s Gift event that will run, offering free in-game items. These themselves will include free Nameplates, Sprays, Chrono Shield Cards, and a Costume Coin that lets you redeem the debut costume for any one of the 33 heroes featured in Season 0.
In more recent news, Marvel Rivals has also introduced exclusive The Punisher and Namor skins that will also be dropped during the May 15 update. Strikingly bold and deadly, the new skins are a contrast from the Squirrel Girl summer skin we recently saw.
