Hoyoverse just revealed the new form of March 7th in their new trailer — The Deliverer Trailer “Trailblazer”. This new form appears starkly different from her usual appearance. Leaving behind her usual bubbly appearance, her new form takes inspiration from gothic-styles, making her appear ruthless and villainous. Due to its dark undertone, players have started calling this form as the Dark March 7th, and I couldn’t agree more with them. Her new form’s appearance is definitely linked to a major plotline in the future of Honkai Star Rail. So, let’s take a closer look at March 7th’s new dark form in Honkai Star Rail.
The New Dark March 7th’s Appearance in Honkai Star Rail
March 7th’s new form appears to be wearing a half sleeved leather jacket, predominantly black, with a mouth shaped zip on the shoulder. She also wears a dark skirt and adorns a rose shaped harpin and a brooch. She is also shown holding an umbrella that is reddish at the center and black all around. We also see her use the umbrella actively during combat.
The most significant change in March 7th’s new form is her eyes. March 7th’s eyes are completely red in this new form, giving a very wicked look to her character. Overall, the entire style is very gothic inspired and it hints that March 7th had a disturbing past. We may even see her as a potential villain sometime in the future.
Dark March 7th’s Element and Path
The Dark March 7th is rumored to be a playable character of the Remembrance path. This also means that she will likely have a memosprite, which was missing in the trailer. Other than that, her rarity is still unconfirmed. If we take the previous words from the developers into account, she will likely remain a 4-star character and will only have a new path unlocked like Hunt March 7th version.
However, the entire feel to her character seems highly important, and we all know how important characters generally end up as 5-stars in the game.
