Marathon features one of the most unique artstyles that we have seen in an extraction shooter, boasting absolutely breathtaking graphics. While this might lead some players to think that it will be a demanding title for their PC, Marathon’s requirements are lower than what we usually see in modern shooters. Here, thanks to the official Marathon help page, we have listed the minimum and recommended system requirements for Marathon. So, without further ado, check them out below!

The official Marathon alpha test specs sheet initially required only 6 GB of storage for the testing. While players were worried about the game’s full release size, given how Destiny 2 requires 100+ GBs of storage, Marathon’s Steam page reveals that players will only need around 20 GBs of storage for the full game, a rarity in today’s gaming industry.
So, if you have a good SSD, ensure you have 20 GB of storage space. Moreover, you will need a solid internet connection to download and play the game. Keep in mind that Bungie’s Marathon is a PVPVE extraction shooter. This means you must have constant connectivity to the internet. We suggest you use Ethernet for loss-free gameplay.
Although most modern games demand high-level system requirements, Marathon seems highly optimized, allowing players to embody their Runner Shells perfectly and explore the mysteries of Tau Cati IV.
