Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 14 Kicks Off a Duel Between Two Powerful Characters

Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo is a roll right now, as Gege Akutami is already teasing one of the first major battles on the spin-off series. In about thirteen chapters, Gege has successfully established a deep understanding of the Simurian race. It’s quite evident at this point that this alien race would one day go against humanity; it’s inevitable. And it seems like Chapter 14 of JJK Modulo will kick-start this forthcoming war between the two species.

Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 14 Starts the Duel Between Maru and Tsurugi

Chapter 14 of JJK Modulo doesn’t waste any time and instantly starts off with a dark tone. That’s right, we’ve had enough fun, it’s time to get serious now. At the beginning of the chapter, we see Mino and the Crazy Eyes discussing the upcoming duel against Dabura. This duel can prevent the full-scale war against these aliens, so the higher-ups don’t mind losing one human soldier over it. And guess what? The person they choose for this fight against Dabura is none other than Yuka.

That’s right, they are going with Yuka, who will die of her disease in a few months. Well, according to Mino and the Crazy Eyes, that’s what makes Yuka the perfect candidate. They think that Yuka will die anyway, so why not use her one last time? Honestly, this makes you wonder who the real villain is in this series. Of course, Tsurugi hates this plan, and he is all set to stop this duel, but Maru knows that by doing this, Tsurugi will put humanity at risk. But that’s not it.

Apparently, Tsurugi is so tired of everything that he wants Maru to leave along with the rest of his people. But Maru says that his people have nowhere else to go, so leaving Earth, well, isn’t an option. On top of that, Maru is already furious about what happened to Cross, who, by the way, is alive but is in a critical condition. Sure, Maru’s reasoning is correct, and of course, the entire alien race can’t just leave if a single boy says so. But at the same time, no brother wants to lose his sister over some senseless duel.

Both Maru and Tsurugi are correct, but they are at different ends of a spectrum. So, they both draw their swords and start fighting each other. And no, this isn’t some friendly quarrel; this is a serious fight that’ll show us who holds the upper hand in terms of strength and power: Tsurugi or Maru? Well, I am sure we’ll get that answer, but we’ll have to wait until Chapter 15 is released.
