- There is no Compass in Fortnite that can help you get a Pirate Shop Token in the Treasure Hunters Mini Season.
- The only compass that's usable in Battle Royale and Zero Build is the one built into the HUD.
- Epic Games has issued a public notice about falling for scams related to the Pirate Shop Token in Fortnite.
Since the Treasure Hunters mini-season began, players have been searching all over Crossbones Isle to get the Fortnite Pirate Shop Token. While some players struggle, it seems others have acquired a mythical navigational device that leads them to this treasure. This has led to some speculation about the existence of a compass in Fortnite that can reveal the location of the Pirate Shop Token. However, as Captain Jack Sparrow would say, “Not all treasure is silver and gold, mate.”
Can You Get the Compass in Fortnite for the Pirate Shop Token?
No, you cannot get the compass in Fortnite for the Pirate Shop Token because, just like Captain Jack Sparrow, it’s a thing of myth; it does not exist, which means you cannot obtain it. Similar to the “Gas Clan Fortnite Method,” which allegedly makes it easier to obtain the Pirate Shop Token, both it and the compass are non-existent.
Epic Games even publicly warned players to be aware of Fortnite Pirate Shop Token Scams that have started to spring up all over the internet, which include the ‘magical’ compass. Speaking of which, the entire hoax seems to have been started by a Facebook page called Uncle Frank’s Factory.
In a video posted by Uncle Frank’s Factory on Facebook, we see a player being guided by the alleged Pirate Token Shop compass, which ultimately leads them to the treasure. This led viewers to ask the question, “How to get the Pirate Shop Token compass in Fortnite.” The answer, as previously mentioned, is that you can’t.
You can use the HUD compass in Battle Royale and Fortnite Zero Build, but it only tells you the direction you are headed. It does not reveal the location of any Treasure Chests in Fortnite, especially not the one that could contain the Pirate Shop Token.
That said, there are methods to get the Fortnite Pirate Shop Token, but they only improve your odds and don’t guarantee that you get it. If anything, it may reduce the overall number of chests you need to open to find it, but you still need to open chests to find it.
Yes, the Fortnite Pirate Shop Token compass is as real as Jack Sparrow.
