Following in the footsteps of Jimmy Kimmel, Conan O’Brien, the fan-favorite host and comedian, was chosen to host the 2026 Oscars. Like last year, Conan’s hilarious performances as a host were one of the highlights of this year’s Academy Awards. As usual, the television star did a parody at the end, but this time it included the name of the world’s most popular YouTuber. So, is Mr. Beast poised to become the host of the next Oscars ceremony? Find out the answer here.
Mr. Beast Is Teased to Be the next Oscar Host
At the end of the Oscars 2026, a clip of Conan O’Brien’s parody of the climax of the One Battle After Another movie played out. Conan was invited to become the host for life, similar to how Colonel Lockjaw was invited to become a part of his favorite extremist organization. But Conan also gets poison-gassed in the end, in the same way Lockjaw gets eliminated. Then, the replacement for the Oscar host for life was teased to be Mr. Beast, the famous content creator.
As this is a parody, Conan must have mentioned Mr. Beast’s name as a joke. In case you aren’t aware, the Academy Awards have teamed up with YouTube to stream the award ceremony exclusively on the platform starting in 2029.

However, since the Oscars are moving to YouTube in a few years, could the joke become a reality in the future? We never know! There is no confirmation that Mr. Beast will host the Oscars, replacing Conan O’Brien, at the moment. So, let’s wait and see if the prestigious awards will invite the YouTuber later on.
