Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Conquest against Steven Yeun as Invincible is a cool throwback to their interaction in The Walking Dead, where Dean’s character beat Yeun’s character to death with a baseball bat. Who Is Conquest in Invincible and How Powerful Is He?
In Invincible Season 3, episode 7, we saw that the evil variants of Mark had caused an apocalyptic level of damage on the planet. Now, Mark blames himself for everything that has gone down and wants to make up for it by helping in rescue and rebuilding operations. In the final moments of Episode 7, we see Mark feel the weight of his guilt as he uncovers a dead body crushed under debris. At the same moment, he looks up in the sky, and there is an old Viltrumite with a robotic arm hovering in the air.
This old Viltrumite is none other than Conquest, who is often regarded as the strongest Viltrumite of the Viltrum Empire. In Invincible Season 3, Episode 7, we see that Conquest has come to Earth to remind Mark of his duty to prepare planet Earth for the arrival of the Viltrumites. This conversation enrages Mark, and the episode ends before they can land punches on each other.

Conquest vs Invincible in Invincible Comics
In Invincible Comics, Conqest and Mark engage in a bloody combat that almost kills Oliver and Atom Eve. However, while Eve is almost dead, it is revealed that she can also repair biological matter using her powers since she can put herself together and comes back stronger. On the other hand, Conquest breaks all of Mark’s limbs, leaving him practically immobile. Showing the indomitable human spirit, Mark head butts Conquest and passes out.
Mark wakes up in a hospital and is told by Cecil that his final attack killed Conquest, but in truth, a heavily injured Conquest was kept imprisoned by Cecil. Even though he kept him in a 400-ton prison, after recovering completely, Conquest broke out of there and escaped to Viltrum.
Who Killed Conquest In Invincible Comics?
In Invincible Comics, Conquest was killed by none other than Mark. During the Viltrumite War, Conquest led an attack on the Coalition of Planets and eventually revealed himself to Mark. Seeing Conquest alive, Oliver charged at him but was swatted away, enraging Mark even more. Mark engaged in a fistfight with him and eventually held him in a chokehold.
Conquest hit Mark as much as he could, even disembowling him, but even after being severely injured, Invincible did not let him go, and eventually, Conquest was choked to death by Mark.
