Invincible Season 3 is finally here, with Mark Grayson back in his tights to fight Earth’s worst enemies. However, in the three episodes we have seen so far, things are far from being good between Invincible and the GDA, with Cecil working with Darkwing and DA Sinclair. In terms of fighting villains, the first three episodes have been a little uneventful if we exclude what went down with Doc Seismic. But as it turns out, Angstrom Levy is alive in Invincible Season 3 as we see in the post-credit scene of episode 3, and to a lot of us, it is a mystery how he managed to survive. So, let me tell you all about it!
How Did Angstrom Levy Survive in Invincible?
In Invincible Season 2, when Angstrom tries to combine the minds of all his versions across the multiverse, he is interrupted by Invincible, and the machine blows up, turning Angstrom into a twisted villain. Levy wanted to take revenge on Invincible and to do that, he attacked his family, going to the extent of breaking his mother’s arm.
This threw Invincible into a fit of rage and he battled Levy in multiple dimensions. However, when he finally got hold of Angstrom, he beat him mercilessly unless he stopped moving. Mark was drowned in guilt for killing him and has been living with it since then.
Now, here comes the interesting part. In Invincible Comics, When Mark beats Angstrom Levy to a pulp, he thinks that he killed him, but in truth, Angstrom was rescued by a team of inter-dimensional doctors called The Technicians. Angstrom contacted them, and they took him to an inter-dimensional hospital to save him. Those doctors managed to save his life and bring him back to a normal state.
While this has not been shown in the TV show yet, we can expect the same comic storyline to roll out in upcoming Invincible episodes to explain how Angstrom Levy survived after Invincible beat him in season 2.
Who Is the Angstrom Levy Voice Actor in Invincible?
Angstrom Levy is voiced by Sterling Kelby Brown in Invincible and he will be returning to voice the character in Invincible Season 3. Sterling Brown made his breakthrough with American Crime Story in 2016, where he appeared as prosecutor Christopher Darden. He has also given his voice to multiple well-renowned movies like Angry Birds 2 and Frozen 2.
