Since Invincible came out, in comics as well as the TV show, it has been reinforced multiple times that Viltrumites are at the top of the food chain of the entire galaxy. The Viltrum Empire has taken over hundreds of planets and has plans to do the same with Earth. However, in Invincible Season 3 Episode 4, Nolan revealed a massive weakness of the Viltrumites and I am here to let you guys know all about it.
What Is the Weakness of Viltrumites in Invincible?
By the end of Invincible Season 3 Episode 4, we see that even though Allen has tried his level best to convince Nolan to break out of the Viltrumite prison with him, Nolan is in deep regret for betraying his people, his family, and Earth because of which, he is hell-bent on going through with his execution.
Eventually, the day of his execution arrives and as he is taken to be killed by two other Viltrumites, Allen decides that whether Nolan likes it or not, he is going to save his life. Allen breaks off his shackles and engages in combat with the guards and when he feels overwhelmed, he also frees other inmates and one of them is Battle Beast, one of the few who can kill Viltrumites with his bare hands.
Just before Nolan is about to be killed, Allen and Battle Beast come to his rescue, and after an intense battle, Allen escapes from the prison with Nolan as Battle Beast continues to fight with a Viltrumite while drifting into space. This is when Nolan makes the biggest revelation ever. Allen urges Nolan that they should get out of there before reinforcements arrive and just as Invincible Season 3 Episode 4 is about to end, Nolan reveals that there are only 50 pure-blooded Viltrumites left which is their biggest weakness and since Allen, Nolan, and Battle Best have already killed two of them, the Empire will not risk losing more Viltrumites.
Nolan ensures Allen that with enough numbers, the Coalition of Planets will be able to defeat the Viltrum Empire. This revelation changes a lot of things since according to Nolan, instead of Viltrumites, no one else is aware of this secret, and once this reaches Mark and the Coalition of Planets, there is a good chance that we will get to see them go to war with Viltrum in Invincible Season 3 itself.
