The Fortnite DC Hot Bat Summer has brought players a ton of new quests to complete, allowing them to get their hands on free XP and cosmetics. Among these, one of the quests tasks players with looting Safes or Cash Registers in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3. If you want to score some quick XP through this DC quest, here’s everything you need to know.

What are Safes in Fortnite?

Safes are a special type of container that players can find around the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 map. Unlike regular chests and Sprite Chests, Safes exclusively drop Gold Bars when opened. Additionally, players can earn XP if they choose to open it rather than destroy it. Remember, however, Safes take a while to crack, which can leave you vulnerable to other players.

What are Cash Registers in Fortnite?

Much like the Safes, Cash Registers in Fortnite are also a special type of container that players can loot for Gold Bars. However, while the amount earned is significantly smaller than Safes, Cash Registers have a 100% spawn rate, making them more reliable sources of income if you are looking for Gold. The Cash Registers also grant players 100 XP upon being opened.

You can complete the Loot Safes or Cash Registers Fortnite DC Hot Bat Summer quest by landing at a POI with a high density of Cash Registers and low enemy population. The quest tasks you with searching only 3 Safes or Cash Registers, which you can easily do in one match. Here are the steps you can follow to complete this DC quest easily:

• Land at Cluster Coast or any other POI with Cash Registers near the edge of the map.
• Scan your surroundings and make sure there are no enemies in your immediate vicinity.
• Head inside any of the stores or commercial buildings and search Cash Registers.
• Since Safes have a low spawn rate, focus on looting Cash Registers only.
