If you want to get this cute new Sidekick for yourself, here’s everything you need to know.

How to Unlock Panda Team Jr Sidekick in Fortnite for Free

You can unlock the Panda Team Jr Sidekick in Fortnite for free by completing four XP quests in the new Cuddles and Chaos Sidekick maps that Epic is adding to the game’s ecosystem on July 23, 2026. These maps will put your Sidekicks front-and-center, focusing on these adorable companions rather than the usual combat.

Epic will introduce a variety of free rewards that players can earn through the Fortnite quests attached to these new maps. This includes the Panda Team Jr Sidekick. Unlike previous free Sidekicks like the Kyo Sidekick, you cannot acquire Panda Team Jr by just having its back bling counterpart in your collection.

Here are the steps you can follow to unlock the Panda Team Jr Sidekick for free:

• Log in to Fortnite on or after July 23, 2026.
• In the Discover menu, find Cuddles and Chaos maps.
• Join a match and start completing quests from Cuddles and Chaos maps.
• Complete four Cuddles and Chaos quests.
• When you are done, head back to the lobby. You will find a notification telling you about the Panda Team Jr Sidekick arriving in your collection.

Remember, you don’t have to spend any Fortnite V-Bucks to get the Panda Team Jr Sidekick. It is available for all players for free. Additionally, the Sidekick is unlikely to come to the Fortnite Item Shop in the future since it is a quest reward.
