This time, Epic has introduced the Fortnite Holofoil Sprites, which can be greatly helpful for you and your squad to discover rare Sprites. If you’re on the hunt for the Holofoil Sprites and want to know what they can do for you, this article has you covered.

Where to Find Holofoil Sprites in Fortnite

You can reliably find Holofoil Sprites in Fortnite by fishing for them in Golden Fishing Spots around the Chapter 7 Season 3 map. Golden Fishing Spots are a rarer version of the regular fishing spots and have become the best way for players to get Special Sprite Variants like Gummy Sprites and Galaxy Sprites.

However, the Golden Fishing Spots are hard to come by, just like the Special Sprite Variants. To help with that, here’s a map with the best possible spawn points for Golden Fishing Spots that can help you find Holofoil Sprites:

Additionally, much like other Special Sprite variants, you can look for certain Holofoil Sprites in specific locations of the map to increase your chances of finding them. Here is a breakdown of all of these locations on the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 map:

• Holofoil Water Sprite: Found near lakes, rivers, and beaches.
• Holofoil Earth Sprite: Lives deep inside forests and woods.

What Do Holofoil Sprites Do in Fortnite?

Equipping a Holofoil Sprite grants your entire Fortnite squad a 5% chance of finding rare Sprite variants when looting a chest. This makes the Holofoil Sprites perfect for players looking to tick off rare entries in the Sprite Checklist. Additionally, this buff is stackable, so if an entire 4-person squad has a Holofoil Sprite equipped, your team will have a 20% higher chance of finding rare Sprites.

How to Easily Get Holofoil Sprites in Fortnite (Holofoil Hours)

Since the Holofoil Sprite variants are brand new, players have a higher chance of finding them through the Holofoil Hours Fortnite Sprite Event. The Holofoil Hours event will take place on July 11, 2026, at 2 PM ET and 9 PM ET. During both sessions, the Holofoil Hours will run for 2 hours, giving players ample time to hunt down these new variants.

During this event, players will experience a variety of modifiers, including an increased spawn rate of Holofoil Sprites around the Island. Apart from the increased spawn rates, players can also look forward to these buffs during the Fortnite Holofoil Hours:

• Players start every match with a Self-Revive Device and a Shock Rock effect.
• Shock Rocks will grant double jump height and drop more frequently.

Remember that Holofoil Sprites will still be available in Fortnite after the Holofoil Hours event ends, albeit with a lower spawn rate. If you end up finding a Holofoil Sprite, make sure to extract it using an Extraction Site or Portable Extractor so that you can use it in future matches.
