How to Get Gummy Sprites in Fortnite

It looks like Epic has no intentions of stopping with the Sprite craze in Chapter 7 Season 3. The developers have now added a new variety called the Fortnite Gummy Sprites to the loot pool, bringing new buffs and collectibles for players to explore. All Gummy Sprites in Fortnite

Just like the Gold Sprites, there are a total of 15 Gummy Sprites currently available for players to collect in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3. Since they are not separate Sprites but rather specialised variants of the in-game Sprites, they share their rarities with their base counterparts.

Where to Find Gummy Sprites in Fortnite?

You can find Special variants like the Gummy Sprites by fishing at the Golden Fishing Spots in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3. These are rare fishing holes that can grant you not only Legendary loot but also the occasional Gummy Sprite, being the most reliable source of these variants. Since Golden Fishing Spots are hard to track on the Chapter 7 Season 3 map, here is a map to help you with the most probable locations:

You can increase your chances of finding Gummy Sprites at these rare fishing spots by keeping an eye out for Fortnite Sprite Events. These regularly scheduled events, like the Fortnite Mastery Mondays, increase players’ chances of finding rare Sprites and help them master the ones already in their collection.

Barring the Golden Fishing Spots, you can also try your luck at finding the Gummy Sprites in rare Chests and Sprite Chests. Like all other Sprites in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3, the Gummy Sprites have no fixed spawn locations and are highly dependent on RNG. However, you can improve your chances of coming across some Gummy Sprites by looking for them in specific areas on the Chapter 7 Season 3 map.

• Gummy Striker Sprite: Found sparingly in Sprite Chests and by scoring a goal at the Soccer Pitch.

• Gummy Punk Sprite: Secured inside high-tier Vault Sprite Chests (keycard required).

Once you do find a rare Gummy Sprite, you have to extract it to add it to your collection. For this, players need to head to an Extraction Site or use a Portable Extractor if they have one handy. However, if you want to master your Sprite before extracting it, you will have to get it to Level 5 before sending it back to the lobby.

What Do Gummy Sprites Do in Fortnite?

Gummy Sprites provide Fortnite players with 10% more Sprite Dust when you extract a Sprite through an Extraction Site or a Portable Extractor. This buff, which is exclusive to Gummy variants, stacks with the buff provided by the base Sprite. For example, the Gummy Demon Sprite will allow you to siphon health and shields from enemies and will give you increased Sprite Dust when you extract it.

Since Gummy Sprites are fresh in the Fortnite loot pool, they might be hard to come across right now. However, players can expect them to become more common as Chapter 7 Season 3 goes on.
