How to Unlock Fortnite Jess Save the World Skin for Free
The most direct way to unlock the Jess skin is by playing Fortnite Save the World. You simply need to earn a total of 350,000 XP within the Save the World PvE mode to claim the Jess Outfit. The free skin has been released as part of the Battle Royale and Save the World crossover.
According to the official Epic Games blog, the crossover is set to end on June 5, 2026, with the release of Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3. This means that players need to hit the 350,000 XP milestone before the next Fortnite season releases.
Since Save the World is now free-to-play, any player can jump in and get a chance at acquiring the Fortnite Jess skin. You can earn XP by completing missions, defending Storm Shields, and finishing Daily Quests. With the new Auto-Level feature enabled in settings, your heroes will stay strong enough to handle higher-XP missions as you go. Progressing through this questline will also give you a boost in your Showdown Battle Pass levels.
Other Fortnite Jess Rewards in Battle Royale and Save the World
In addition to this, you can also complete the Working with Jess questline on the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 map to maximize your overall XP rewards. After you introduce yourself to the Jess NPC, completing two of Jess’s quests allows you to buy the new Super Shredder weapon during that Battle Royale match.
If you manage to complete the entire Working with Jess and Working with Penny questlines, you will unlock the Super Shredder Schematic for permanent use back in Save the World mode. However, remember that XP you earn on the Battle Royale map will not count towards the initial 350,000 XP milestone for the Jess skin.
