While a population of Marvel Rivals players don’t play competitively, there’s no shortage of sweat in the game. Marvel Rivals’ ranked mode sees its fair share of players losing and gaining rank all the time. However, we can all agree that the latter doesn’t really feel good. To help out with just that, NetEase is bringing Chrono Shield Cards, a handy item that will prevent a point loss even if you lose a competitive match. But how do you get one? Marvel Rivals: Chrono Shield Card
In Marvel Rivals, the Chrono Shield Card is part of the upcoming Galaca’s Gift event, a Season 0 throwback to the first ever season of the game. The Shield Cards will be offered as a reward from the event, and all players need to do is play matches in Quick Play, Competitive, or other modes to get it.
As you can see for yourself, a total of 8 Chrono Shield Cards are available to unlock, with four each available in tiers two and four. Players will be able to carry a maximum of 20 Chrono Shield Cards, and they will automatically be cleared at the end of each season.
Furthermore, as of now, we don’t know if there’s any other way to obtain these cards. However, we should have more information when Galacta’s Gift launches on May 15, 9:00 UTC. Besides the new cards, players will also get a Costume Coin they’ll be able to use to unlock one free skin for the game’s 33 OG heroes.
