How to Reach Jagged Peaks in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree

Jagged Peaks is one of the optional areas in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree and has one of the best dragon bosses in the franchise.
You need to clear the Dragon's Pit to unlock the path to the Foot of the Jagged Peaks, from where you can head in two directions.
From the Foot of the Jagged Peaks, you can either head left to reach the Bayle the Dread boss fight or right to the Grand Alter of Dragon Communion.

Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree has multiple hard-to-reach areas. One such area is called Jagged Peaks in the Realm of Shadows, which is the home to multiple optional boss fights and is needed to complete Igon’s NPC quest. How to Reach Jagged Peaks in Elden Ring

To reach Jagged Peaks in the Realm of Shadows, you first need to clear the Dragon’s Pit. After you reach the bottom of it and defeat the boss, you can enter Dragon’s Pit terminus. From there on, you can either head to the Jagged Peak summit or the Grand Altar of Dragon Communion. Here is an in-depth guide on how to reach it.

Start from the Castle Front Site of Grace and head south east using the high path. Eventually you will come across the Pillar Path Waypoint Site of Grace.
From there, drop down to the lower path in the west, and you will find Igon screaming in agony here. Move along the path southward, following the dragon statutes on both sides of the path.
The Ancient Dragon Man will invade you here.
Defeat him and keep moving south to reach the Dragon’s Pit.

Head to the end of the Dragon’s Pit until you reach the altar. Here, you need to jump down in the dark cavern before the altar to reach the boss room and unlock the path to Jagged Peaks. Don’t worry as you won’t die.

After falling to the bottom, you will be able to enter the boss room and face the Ancient Dragon Man again.
Defeat him to obtain the Dragon-Hunter’s Great Katana.
Now, push open the closed doors to unlock the path to the Dragon’s Pit Terminus Site of Grace.

From the Dragon’s Pit Terminus, you can reach the Jagged Peak. Now, you can either head to the Jagged Peak Summit by taking the left path and face off with Bayle the Dread. Or, head to the Grand Altar of Dragon Communion by taking the right path.

Jagged Peak is one of the optional areas in the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree. This area holds multiple small bosses and one of the main optional bosses, Bayle the Dread.
