You can invite a friend to Deadlock who already has the game installed in two ways. You can either directly invite your friends from your friends list or share an invite party code. Here are both the ways to invite friends to Deadlock:
Direct Invite
In Deadlock, you can invite your friends to your party directly from your friends list. Here is how to do so:
- Select the Play with Friends option and hover your mouse cursor over the friend’s profile.
- Click the Invite to Party option to create a new party.
- Ask your friend to accept the invite by clicking on the green tick mark.
Party Code
In case your Steam friend is hidden or not showing up, you can simply invite them by generating a party code. Here is how to invite friends to Deadlock using a party code:
- Select the Play with Friends option and click Create Party Code to share.
- Copy the Invite Code from the top and send it to your friend.
- Have your friend select the Join Party with Code option.
- Enter the code and click OK to join the party.
How to Invite Friends to Deadlock Playtest
While it is quick and easy to invite a friend who already has the game, inviting someone to Deadlock for the first time can be time-consuming. To invite a friend to the Deadlock playtest, you can send an invitation to any Steam friend you have from the game.
Once you send an invite, the process can take anywhere from an hour to a day. After that, your friend will receive an invite in their mail. They can view the mail and join the Deadlock playtest from there easily.
