Treasure Maps were introduced in the Forsaken Shores update in Roblox Fisch. These maps will guide you to a hidden Treasure Chest somewhere in the world of Fisch. Moreover, the best thing about these chests is that you have a good chance of getting the powerful Sunken Rod from them. However, the maps are quite difficult to obtain, and a few steps are involved in locating the chests. Let us help you by teaching you how to get and use treasure maps in Fisch.
How to Get a Treasure Map in Fisch
Treasure Maps are only found through fishing in the game. All you you need to do is keep catching fishes at any location and randomly a map will come up with a fish. Remember that these maps will come alongside a fish and be stored separately as two items in your backpack.
When the update was first released, the drop rate for the map was 1/360. With the recent hotfix changes, the drop rates were increased to 1/160. Although getting this item has become relatively easy, it would ultimately depend on your luck and how fast you get hold of them.
How to Use a Treasure Map in Fisch
Once you get a Treasure map and equip it in your hand, you will notice that the Y and Z coordinates are marked as “??”. To get all the coordinates, you must get it fixed by the pirate at the Forsaken Shores. Simply follow these steps to get your map fixed.
- Head to the Forsaken Shores with your boat and land at these coordinates XYZ: -2485, 141, 1515, where you will find the Merchant.
- Take the path on the right of the Merchant and reach the Fountain.
- You need to climb up the three ladders to reach the top of the hill, where you will notice the opening of a cave lit by torches.
- Enter the cave, and you will find the Pirate Jack Marrow and the Scurvy rod beside him.
- Equip the map on one hand and interact with the pirate. Finally, fix your map by paying him 400 cash.
Now, the map will show all the XYZ coordinates, and to reach the exact location, you would need a Fisch GPS, which can be found on Moosewood Island. I would recommend having a set of diving gear with you as there is a chance the chest is under the ocean. So, once you are all set, equip the GPS in one hand and head to the coordinates on your boat. Fisch Treasure Chests Rewards
Having reached the exact coordinates as shown on the map, you would easily find the chest if it is on land. Otherwise, you might need to dive slightly to get hold of the chest. Once near the Treasure Chest, press and hold the “E” key to open it. You will get one of the following possible rewards:
- Any Fish, can have a Sunken Mutation
- Any Bait
- Quality Bait Crates
- Compass, Gold Coin, Whaley, or Meteor Stone Bobbers
- Totems
- Enchant Relics
- Fillionaire lottery ticket that gifts you cash
- Sunken rod (1/40 drop rate)
- Aurora Totem
