The Riptide Rod can be crafted in the Ancient Archives region of the Ancients Isles in Fisch. The very first requirement to unlock the recipe of this rod is that you must cross level 200 in the game. Having done that, you will need the following materials to craft this rod:

  • 3x Ruby: Found by claiming the Fisch gemstones from the Meteor crash Site at the Ancient Isles. You may use a Meteor Totem to summon a Meteor manually.
  • 3x Atlantean Driftwood: Fish using the Trident Rod to get this mutation. Fish in the Sunstone Cave on Sunstone Island (coordinates: -1215, 195, -1040) and use garbage bait to get this material fast.
  • 1x Magic Thread: Easily caught while fishing (any region) and caught alongside a fish.

Once you collect all these materials, head to the Ancient Isles located east of Moosewood. If you haven’t yet opened the Ancient Archives door, you can check out our dedicated guide on it.

The Ancient Archives door can be accessed by going inside the pit behind the waterfall at these coordinates: 5833, 125, 401. Before locating these areas, consider purchasing a GPS in Fisch from Moosewood.

Finally, once you are inside the Ancient Archives, cross the bridge using the Glider and keep going straight. The crafting area is located at the end of this path. Interact with the stone anvil and click on the Riptide Rod, as shown in the catalog. Submit the materials you collected and pay 40,000 cash to purchase the Riptide Rod. Riptide Rod Stats in Fisch Roblox

The Riptide Rod is quite expensive considering the time spent collecting the required materials, and in return, it has below-average stats. The Luck and Lure Speed are very low and don’t allow instant catches without enchantments. Moreover, the Resilience and Max kg stats are not that good for catching some of the heavy and stronger fish. With that being said, here are the stats of this rod:

  • Lure Speed: 20%
  • Luck: 25%
  • Control: 0.05
  • Resilience: 5%
  • Max Kg: 3500kg

Coming to the passive ability, the Riptide Rod will display a Tide Meter UI on the screen while fishing. This will fill up by 20% when you do a Perfect Cast. So, after five such perfect casts, your next three casts will gain a 30% and 25% boost in Luck and Lure Speed stats, respectively. However, this ability does not provide good catches even when the boost is activated, and hence, this rod needs a slight buff in its stats or abilities.

You may skip using your precious enchant relics on this rod, as the passives and base stats are not good enough. If you still wish to play with the Riptide Rod, consider putting either Hasty or Resilience enchantment on it. Finally, there is no need to waste the Exalted relics on this one since there might be better rods waiting for us in the next big Atlantis update in Fisch.
