Skins or Outfits are a key part of Fortnite, and Epic Games does not shy away from introducing new ones. With many outfits in the catalog already, Fortnite got a major style upgrade with the introduction of Kicks in Chapter 2 Remix. This cosmetic feature lets you customize your favorite characters with cool sneakers. Want to know what Kicks are and how to get them in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1? Keep reading as we break these amazing shoes down for you.
What Are Kicks in Fortnite?

Kicks in Fortnite are basically custom shoes that you can add to your Fortnite outfits. Think of them as another way to make your character stand out in the game, just like you would with skins or emotes. Epic Games is partnering with real-world brands like Nike and Jordan, along with creating its own original Fortnite shoe designs.
To celebrate the launch, Epic also gave everyone a free ‘Show ‘Em Off’ emote! away. The players who hopped into the shop between November 21, 2025, at 7 PM ET and December 1, 2025, at 7 PM ET could grab it for absolutely free (0 V-Bucks). However, with more Kicks coming regularly, players can expect Fortnite to give away Kicks for free as well, just like their free skins.
How to Get Kicks in Fortnite
1. Through the Battle Pass
The game initially offered a pair of Air Jordans as a part of the Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix Battle Pass, which costs 950 V-Bucks. By completing both Week Zero and Week One Quests, you could unlock these shoes. Since then, Fortnite has been including Kicks as rewards in the Battle Pass. This is the most cost-effective way to get your pair of Kicks if you already plan on getting the Battle Pass.

2. From the Item Shop
If you prefer more variety, you can visit the Fortnite Item Shop, as Epic consistently cycles new and returning Kicks. Here are all the early released Fortnite Kicks that launched on launch:
First Drop (November 21-26, 2025):
