HSR 3.0: Trailblazer’s Deep Connection to Stellaron Hunters Goes Beyond Elio’s Script

Honkai Star Rail 3.0 released the Amphoreus update, starting a new journey for the Trailblazer in the Eternal Land. The land of Amphoreus is shrouded in mystery, with Titans, considered gods fighting each other, and Chrysos Heirs seeking the coreflame of the titans to finish the unfulfilled prophecy. During the Honkai Star Rail 3.0 Trailblazing mission — Night Veil, Shroud the Silent Past, the Trailblazer enters a memory where the Stellaron Hunters have replaced the Astral Express crew.

This part of the quest raised a ton of questions and also hinted at multiple future plotlines. The biggest question from the memory was whether it was actually true, in other words, whether the Trailblazer was a part of the Stellaron Hunters or whether this was a foreshadowing of them becoming a Stellaron Hunter in the future. Although I don’t have all the answers, all I can do is try to connect the dots and craft a theory.

Trailblazer and the Stellaron Hunters are Connected in More Ways than We Understand

This won’t be shocking to anyone who is up to date with the storyline of Honkai Star Rail, as it has been a common occurrence of the Trailblazer working alongside Stellaron Hunters in two of the major arcs in the storyline so far — the Xianzhou Luofu and Penacony arcs. Other than that, Kafka and Silver Wolf’s involvement in creating the Trailblazer in the first place is also highly questionable.

From the start, we see that the trailblazer remembered Kafka, even though they had no other prior memory. Kafka also speaks with the trailblazer in a very familiar way, almost suggesting that they have been accomplices for a long time. There is a big possibility that the Trailblazer was a part of the Stellaron Hunters a long time ago, and it was part of Elio’s script that made Kafka and Silver Wolf use the Trailblazer’s body as a host for the Stellaron.

This theory is further supported as Kafka and Blade help the Trailblazer become a hero in both Xianzhou Luofu and Penacony, creating strong allies for him to take on something unforeseen in the future. Kafka specifically mentions to the Trailblazer at one time in the Xianzhou Luofu arc that the Trailblazer will need a lot of strong allies going forward. Why? That is still unclear.

The Stellaron Hunter Memory Was a Reflection of the Past

The biggest question about the Stellaron Hunter memory is about its authenticity. Was this memory real or fake? During the mission, the Trailblazer says goodbye to the ‘memory that never happened’ but that might not be true completely. I think the essence of the Stellaron Hunter memory did occur and that’s because of the connection to Fuli, the Aeon of Remembrance.

As Mem is connected to Remembrance and unlocks the Remembrance path for the Trailblazer, the memories created by her definitely use the power of Remembrance and are drawn from Fuli. Now, there is a very distinct feature about the Remembrance, it tries to accurate record the history and preserve it.

This means that a memory created by Mem should also be the most accurate depiction of history from Trailblazer’s own memory. When it comes to a fake or a twisted memory, it is generally from the influence of Enigmata and not the Remembrance.

So, the connection with Fuli clearly shows that the memory of the Stellaron Hunters witnessed by the Trailblazer might be an accurate depiction of what happened in the past. Although this doesn’t mean that the Stellaron Hunters were in the Astral Express as the Trailblazer can simply swap assets from its memory it doesn’t remember with things they are familiar with. But it is more than likely that the Trailblazer was part of the Stellaron Hunters before being made to host the Stellaron and join the Astral Express.

My Wild Theory on Elio’s Script and the Trailblazer

Elio is the leader of the Stellaron Hunters and it is his script that every member of the Stellaron Hunters follow to fulfill their destiny. However, there has not been a mention so far of actually interacting with Elio in the storyline, neither has he ever appeared in the story or the story trailers on Honkai Star Rail YouTube. This creates a big question on who Elio actually is and whether he even is alive.

My wild theory on Elio is that there is a possibility that the Trailblazer is Elio himself, and after writing the “Script”, he asked Kafka to make him the host of the Stellaron. This will fulfill two other theories, of the Trailblazer being part of the Stellaron Hunters in the past, and why the Stellaron Hunters continue to support them in the game. Another wild connection I suggest is the connection to the death of Akivili.

Akivili was the Aeon of Trailblazing, the Aeon followed by the Nameless. It was been repeated several times in the game now that Akivili is dead due to an accident. Another wild theory I have is that Akivili, Elio, and the Trailblazer are the same person. This is why the Trailblazer is so heavily connected to both the Astral Express and the Stellaron Hunters in the game. But this is also theory crafting and I still don’t have strong lore backing for suggesting Akivili as Elio. So, don’t consider this as fact and simply try building on the theory from your point of view.

So, that’s it. This was my take on the Stellaron Hunter dream of the Trailblazer in Amphoreus HSR 3.0 Trailblazing mission. What do you think about this theory and do you think any discrepancies in it? If yes, then don’t hold back and tell us in the comments below.
