Who is Pearl in Honkai Star Rail?
Pearl is one of the Ten Stonehearts in the IPC, and she ranks as P45 senior manager of the Strategic Investment Department. She is also Intellitron from Planet Screwllum and is currently overseeing the management of Planarcadia for the IPC. Pearl is heavily involved in the Phantasmoon games and had planned to curate the entirety of it by obtaining all the masks.
However, her plan quickly failed as she was only left with three masks, as other Suplicants appeared without her noticing. To counteract this, she gave one of her masks to Silver Wolf, letting her join the Phantasmoon games after making a deal.
Pearl is an incredibly intelligent character and will play a major role in the Planarcadia trailblazing missions. However, whether she is going to be an ally of the Nameless or an enemy is yet unknown. I personally think that Pearl will give the Nameless a lot more trouble in the coming update and may even become an adversary before it all ends. But that’s more of a hunch.
When Will Pearl Become Playable in Honkai Star Rail?
Pearl was previously rumored to become playable in Honkai Star Rail 4.1 update. However, now it is confirmed that she won’t be playable anytime soon. The initial Planarcadia drip marketing tease did not include Pearl, which hints that she won’t be playable at least before version 4.4.
With the game entering the Astropolis phase in the second half of 4.x, which is the main hub of IPC, there is a high chance that Pearl will become playable during that time. That means Pearl may become playable between versions 4.5 and 4.7.
Honkai Star Rail Pearl’s Kit, Element, Rarity, and Path
There is no information about Pearl’s kit, element, rarity, or path yet, either officially or through leaks. However, we can assume that she will be a 5-star character just based on her importance in the game. Other than that, if she does become playable, there is a chance that she will be a Preservation character. But we still have to wait for some time before we learn about it.
