Who is Nihilux in Honkai Star Rail?
Nihilux is the Furbobocom magazine’s founder, president, and editor in chief in Honkai Star Rail Planarcadia. She is also the writer behind the Fluffy Across the Blue comic, which is inspired by the Trailblazer’s journey, published under the name Blurry_QR_Colt. But, that only scratches the surface as Nihilux also impersonated as a P30 agent who works at Pearluxe’s Corp’s Imagenesis Technology Department at IPC, a completely made-up division. Yes, Honkai Star Rail 4.1 revealed a lot more than Ashveil being La Mancha in HSR.
With so many identities, it is clear that Nihilux is still hiding her true self. Her knowledge of the Astral Express’s adventures is fascinating alone, especially as she supposedly used Memokeepers as connections for the information. Why would a simple comic artist and local magazine writer in Planarcadia have such vast connections? We can only wait to find out as the story progresses in the coming version.
When Will Nihilux Become Playable in HSR?
Nihilix is among the Planarcadia characters teased in the first drip marketing by Hoyoverse. With four of the characters out of the six already confirmed as playable, the other two characters would likely become playable as well. Which means, both Nihilux and Blade will become playable very soon.
With ‘Evanescia‘ and ‘Silver Wolf Lv. 999’ being confirmed for Honkai Star Rail 4.2, we can expect Nihilux becoming playable in version 4.3. So, if the normal HSR version cycle continues with 4.2, Nihilux should release sometime in June, this year.
HSR Nihilux’s Kit, Element, Rarity, and Path
We currently have no official confirmation about Nihilux’s kit, element, rarity, or path. But seeing her character model, we can effectively guess her as a 5-star character. When it comes to path, her name does have the Nihility word in it, so she can be from the Nihility path, but that’s just a pure guess. When it comes to the element, we can safely guess it to be Quantum, because none of the other characters in Planarcadia have the Quantum element yet.
If Nihilux ends up as a Nihility character, then expect her to be either a debuffer or a DoT character. But all of these are based on guesses, and we will have to wait for official information or a concrete leak to have an actual idea about her playable character.
