In the Mutare Magnus puzzle event, you need to correctly place the light beacons to create the given pattern. To make it easier, I have numbered all the placements and mentioned the numbers you have to replace to get the correct pattern. The Easy Mode is quite simple and only requires a few swaps to get the correct pattern.
Mutare Magnus Easy Mode: Stage 1
For the first Easy mode stage of Mutare Magnus, here is the sequence you need to follow:
- First, move the beacon at number 4 to the empty location at number 6.
- Next, move the beacon at number 5 to the empty location at number 3. This will complete the puzzle.
Mutare Magnus Easy Mode: Stage 2
- First, replace the beacon at the 2nd number with the 7th numbered beacon.
- Now, replace this beacon with the number 3 beacon.
- Finally, replace this beacon with the number 2 beacon to complete the pattern.
Mutare Magnus Easy Mode: Stage 3
- Move the 8th placed beacon to the empty 5th place.
- Next, swap the 2nd placed beacon and 4th placed beacon with each other.
- Finally, move the 3rd placed beacon to the empty 6th place to finish the pattern.
HSR Mutare Magnus Hard Mode Puzzle Event Guide
The Hard Mode of Mutare Magnus can be quite tricky and is the most difficult part of the Festive Revelry event. Simply follow the steps below to easily complete the Mutare Magnes Hard Mode in Honkai Star Rail.
Mutare Magnus Hard Mode: Stage 1
- First, move the 7th placed beacon to the 6th empty place.
- Next, swap the 4th placed beacon with the 2nd placed beacon to complete the pattern.
Mutare Magnus Hard Mode: Stage 2
- First, swap the 6th placed beacon and the 2nd placed beacon.
- Next, swap the 4th placed beacon and the 1st placed beacon to complete the pattern.
Mutare Magnus Hard Mode: Stage 3
- First, replace the 8th placed beacon with the 4th placed beacon.
- Now, replace this beacon with the 3rd placed beacon.
- Again, replace this beacon with the 7th placed beacon.
- Continue with replacing this beacon with the 8th placed beacon.
- Now, swap the 6th and 5th placed beacons to complete the pattern.
