Is Cyrene Worth Building? Pros and Cons

Cyrene may be the most anticipated character in Honkai Star Rail, but her kit has some serious issues. First, she is heavily dependent on using her Ultimate, and recharging it feels like a nightmare. She requires 24 points of Recollection, which can be obtained in various ways. However, she only requires 12 points to use her Ultimate, but her first use must have 24 points. This makes every fight using Cyrene a struggle to first reach her Ultimate requirement, because without it, she is basically useless.

Now, with Cyrene’s Ultimate, she becomes a massive asset in a fight. First of all, her Ultimate automatically unlocks Ultimates for all allies in the team. Next, her Talent gives a unique buff to each Chrysos Heir, making her useful in almost every Amphoreus team. She also enables the team to deal consistent True Damage with each attack.

ProsCons
Gives unique buffs to every Chrysos Heirs, catering to their kitsTakes a long time to recharge her first Ultimate
Universal Chrysos Heir SupportNot very useful without her first Ultimate
Deals True DamageNot free-to-play friendly
Doesn’t have a specific team where she is needed

So, would I recommend pulling for Cyrene? No, I won’t recommend you pull for Cyrene unless you are willing to spend a lot on her. For most players, Cyrene won’t bring anything of immense value to their teams. Finally, Cyrene is not good for F2P players, so if you are one of them, then definitely skip her.

Cyrene’s Signature Light Cone vs E1?

When it comes to Cyrene’s Signature Light Cone and her first Eidolon, the choice is quite clear. You should always go for her Signature Light Cone. Why? Because her signature Light Cone provides her increased speed, increases Crit Damage for all allies, and makes enemies take additional damage.

Compared to that, her E1 lets her obtain more Recollection points when she uses her Memosprite skill on her Memosprite, also increasing its damage. However, the main issue with Cyrene’s kit is reaching her Ultimate in the first place. This issue is only helped by her Signature Light Cone, which increases her Speed.

HSR Cyrene Build: Best and Alternative Light Cones

NameRarityValue
This Love, Forever5-StarBest
Memory’s Curtain Never Falls (F2P)5-StarGreat
Long May Rainbows Adorn the Sky5-starGreat

For Cyrene’s Light Cones, you should prioritize getting her signature, “This Love, Forever.” This Light Cone increases her speed, increases Crit Damage for allies, and makes the enemy take more damage.

However, the Herta Store Light Cone, Memory’s Curtain Never Falls, is also a good alternative. It provides a good speed boost that is appreciated for Cyrene’s kit. Other than that, you can also use Hyacine’s signature Light Cone for Cyrene, but as you would likely have Hyacine alongside Cyrene, it’s best to use that Light Cone on Hyacine itself.

HSR Cyrene Build: Best and Alternative Relics

Cyrene doesn’t have many good Relic options. Her best Relic is the new 4-piece World-Remaking Deliverer set. This Relic set increases Crit Rate and increases the Max HP of the wearer and their Memosprite after using Basic Attack or Skill. Other than that, this Relic also increases the DMG of all allies by 15%.

But, you can also use a 2-piece Speed Relic combo on Cyrene, as Speed is her highest priority stat. Use Messenger Traversing Hackerspace, Sacerdos Relieved Ordeal, or Warrior Goddess of Sun and Thunder together to give Cyrene a good speed boost.

Unlike Cyrene’s Relic options, her Planar Ornament options her plentiful. Her best options are Amphoreus The Eternal Land, Lushaka, the Sunken Seas, and Penacony, Land of the Dreams. If you want to increase her damage, then use Bone Collection Serene Demesne and Arcadia of Woven Dreams. Other than that, if you want more Speed on Cyrene, then use Giant Tree of Rapt Brooding, Fleet of the Ageless, or Forge of the Kalpagni Lantern.

Cyrene Best Teams in Honkai Star Rail

Cyrene’s best team will always be a Chrysos Heir team. Although she has a ton of team options, she is never the most important pick for her team. Cyrene is only a clear pick for Mydei teams, but other than that, you can always switch her up with other characters in the teams mentioned below. Still, here are Cyrene’s best teams in the game.

Cyrene’s kit has been revealed in Honkai Star Rail, revealing a very interesting set of abilities. She is a universal support who deals damage based on her HP. Cyrene increases the damage output of its allies and deals True Damage to enemies based on a percentage of your allies’ damage. Her Memosprite deals additional damage and also buffs allies.
