Amphoreus is set to be the longest-running story arc in Honkai Star Rail’s history, starting from 3.0 and ending at 3.7. The story so far has only touched the surface and the community has already started working on different theories. While theory crafters are busy, the leakers are also doing their job to find as much information as possible. A recent leak via Uncle Greekmilk has dropped major spoilers about the storyline of Amphoreus, including the creator of Amphoreus, Phainon’s possible roles, and the importance of The Herta in Amphoreus. Here we have compiled the leaks and added context to it based on what we know.

Creator of Amphoreus in Honkai Star Rail Leaked
The first major leak revealed is about the possible creator of Amphoreus. So far, we know that Amphoreus was a hidden world in the Galaxy with only two Aeons (as far as we know) — Erudition and Remembrance, being involved with it. This world was so mysterious that not even Akivili ever trailblazed there, and he is the Aeon of Trailblazing. The only characters who have known about Amphoreus so far are followers of either Remembrance or Erudition. So, there has been a ton of speculation so far on how this mysterious world came to be in the galaxy.
The recent leak reveals that the girl named Cyrene is actually the true creator of Amphoreus. Cyrene has already made an appearance in Honkai Star Rail and she is supposed to be the childhood friend of Phainon back in Aedes Elysia. Phainon’s backstory reveals that everyone in his hometown died due to the black tide and we saw a brief image of Cyrene appearing to be split open by a sword strike.
It has become clear that Cyrene will play a major role in Amphoreus, and if the leaks are true, then she is much more important than we expected her to be in the story.
Phainon has Multiple Monster Models as per Honkai Star Rail Leaked
The next leak reveals that Phainon’s character has five different models, three of which are monster models. This likely hints that Phainon will transform into a monster sometime in the future, while the two other models can be connected to his playable form. There was another recent leak that revealed that Phainon will be the main boss enemy in version 3.1 after undergoing a monster transformation.
The last time the Trailblazer saw Phainon was when he was undertaking the trial of the Strife Titan. If the leaks are true then we can safely say that the trial did not go as expected and Phainon either failed or couldn’t contain the Strife Titan’s coreflame.
The leak also mentions that Cyrene has at least three models related to her and one of them is an NPC model. This means that Cyrene may appear sooner than we expected as an interactable NPC in Honkai Star Rail.
Madame Herta May Hold the Key to Breaking Amphoreus’ Cycle
Honkai Star Rail 3.0 started by featuring The Herta on the banners. Normally when a character is featured in the first banner of a story arc version release, they have a major role in the story. However, Madame Herta only had a brief appearance in the 3.0 Trailblazing mission and it came after the main story in Amphoreus ended. This left everyone in the community a bit confused about what exactly Madame Herta’s role going to be in Amphoreus.
The recent leak reveals that Erudition is actually the key to breaking the Amphoreus cycle and that “The Herta’s performance is worth looking forward to”. Although we already knew that Erudition was playing a major role in Amphoreus, the “key to breaking Amphoreus cycle” hints at a much bigger role than what the community likely expected. And it seems that The Herta will soon enter Amphoreus and be a key character in the upcoming story arc.
