 
							Fossil has today launched its brand new Gen 5 smartwatch with a bunch of cool new features in tow. The smartwatch comes in three colours: Smoke, Black, Dark Brown. The smoke colour is available only in a metal strap, the black colour only in the silicone strap, and the dark brown in leather.
Specs-wise, the Gen 5 brings the Snapdragon Wear 3100 processor paired with 1GB RAM and 8GB storage. The watch is also water-resistant up to 3ATM.

In terms of sensors, the watch comes with a heart-rate sensor, activity tracker, GPS, and more. It’s also pretty feature-rich with features such as heart rate tracking, built-in speakers, built-in GPS, rapid charging with up to 80% charge in an hour, and a lot more.
The Fossil Gen 5 is powered by Google’s WearOS smartwatch platform, with features like Tiles, and a built-in Google Assistant that can listen, and respond to queries straight from the watch thanks to the built-in speakers on the Gen 5.
The Fossil Gen 5 is currently on sale via the Fossil website for £279.
There’s no word on when Fossil might launch the smartwatch in India, or if it even will.
