Just try to keep targets within 50 meters to ensure you’re delivering the most damage possible per shot fired. Then again, if you want to practice shooting long-range in Fortnite bot lobbies, this is the perfect tool for the job.

8-Bit Shotgun (Legendary)

Rebecca’s Guns in Fortnite were added as part of the latest collab with Cyberpunk Edgerunners. It is a very unique weapon as it combines an SMG and an AR, allowing players to dual-wield them. Another incredible feature of Rebecca’s Guns in Fortnite is the low reload speed of just 1.35 seconds. Nothing quite compares to it at the moment. The animation for the reload is also unique, as the weapon is not reloaded, but rather just replaced. Just be careful while using it, as you can exhaust your ammo reserves very quickly.

Heavy Assault Rifle (Rare)

The Heavy Assault Rifle is a great mid-range weapon that allows you to hit targets with precision and deal massive damage with each shot landed. Although it’s limited to “Rare” rarity, its stats overpower the regular AR of “Legendary” rarity. That said, here’s a look at the stats.

As seen from the stats, what it lacks in magazine size, it makes up for in damage. With each shot inflicting a blistering 40 damage, you can pair this weapon with the Vampire Sprite in Fortnite to heal without the need for consumables.

Best Fortnite B-Tier Weapons

Coming to the weapon B-tier list in Chapter 7 Season 4, we have the Kingdom Key, Bonerattler SMG, Freddy’s Nightmare, and the Mega Buster in Fortnite. Despite being put in the B-Tier, the weapons are powerful in their own right.

With the Drum Gun being vaulted, the Bonerattler SMG is now the only option to use. It’s decent at mid-range, but we recommend trying to find the Exotic Bonerattler SMG if you truly want to use the weapon.

Coming to the Kingdom Key in Fortnite, it’s a great melee weapon with a magical attack that consumes charges, but it’s just not practical in many situations. Unless you manage to get the drop on the enemy, charging in using the Kingdom Key is all but certain to end in disaster. Same goes with Freddy’s Nightmare in Fortnite; despite it being powerful, obtaining it is half the battle.

Lastly, we have the Mega Buster; it’s great at tearing through builds in Battle Royale, but with limited ammo, it’s hard to recommend this weapon. It’s not good at range, and if any enemy comes close, the 8-Bit Shotgun is the better option.

Best Fortnite C-Tier Weapons

On the C-Tier list, we have the Sweeper Shotgun and Tactical Pistol. Take our advice and dump the Tactical Pistol as soon as you land. With the Drum Gun dominating mid-range, it feels more like a gimmick than a weapon. Don’t risk collecting new Sprites in Fortnite without getting a better weapon.

As for the Sweeper Shotgun, it’s good, but again, the 8-Bit is just better in every way. If you find the 8-Bit Shotgun, you don’t need any other close-range weapon, especially if you find one of high rarity.

As part of Fortnitemares 2026, the Wood Stake Shotgun and Dual Fiend Hunters have been unvaulted. They aren’t the best weapons to use and are far from the meta, but if there’s nothing else at your disposal, they will have to suffice. That said, try to avoid them and stick to the more tried and tested gear.

Best Fortnite Assault Rifles

It comes as no surprise that the Fortnite weapon tier list in Chapter 7 Season 4 has both ARs listed. Despite being of varying quality, they are solid choices to use from the start to the finish of a Battle Royale match. Here’s a list of all AR.

As of the Fortnite update 42.30, there are two distinct melee weapons to choose from in Battle Royale and Zero Build. They hit hard and fast, but only if you’re able to get within range of your target. Here is the list of all melee weapons in Fortnite.
