Fortnite Cube Sprites Release Date is sooner than you’d think. They will be introduced during the Hot Bat Summer Event. These Sprite variants are attuned to the Storm. While they are not exactly destructive, they will will you a boost. That said, here’s what you need to know about them.
Fortnite Cube Sprites Release Date Revealed
As per the list of upcoming Fortnite Sprite Events, the Fortnite Cube Sprites release date is set for July 23, 2026. As always, they will release at 9 AM ET, and their spawn rates should be increased for a short duration. The Pollo Sprite will also go live alongside this variant.

Fortnite Cube Sprites Are Live
In total, there will be 18 Fortnite Cube Sprites for you to collect. We’ll likely only see a few variants released at a time to avoid overcrowding. As always, you can trade Sprites in Fortnite to complete your collection to save time.
Speaking of collecting, Cube Sprites should be obtainable via Sprite Chests. When available, Golden Fishing Spots are also a useful method. If all else fails, look for a player who has a Cube Sprite and eliminate them.
What Do Cube Sprites Do In Fortnite?
When you’re moving through the Storm in Fortnite, Cube Sprites will grant you the Overdrive ability. This is highly situational, given that players avoid getting trapped in the Storm. So it’s left to be seen how useful they are compared to Holofoil Sprites.
One can argue that the Striker Sprite renders more utility. However, I suppose having a quick getaway from within the Storm could prove useful. If you’re trapped and need to rotate long distances, Cube Sprites could just be your saving grace.
