Fortnite’s new season Super is live, and with it comes a heroic wave of new map changes, superpowered locations, and a Superman-sized crossover. This season puts players in the middle of a clash between capes and chaos, with new POIs built for both heroes and villains. In this guide, we break down all the new map changes in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 Super.
Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 Super Map Overview

Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 Super makes massive changes to the current map. While the Star Wars season map was centered around iconic locations from the franchise, the latest Super update brings some fresh landmarks. Here’s a look at the three major new locations added in the Fortnite Super update:
- Supernova Academy
- Utopia City
- Demon’s Domain
Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 Super POI Locations and Landmarks
When you enter the game after the update is complete, there will be three new POIs. Of course, the new POIs will switch places with some of the old locations. The locations that are being removed from the Fortnite Chapter 6 map are: Magic Mosses, Seaport City, and Masked Meadows.
Supernova Academy
Replacing last season’s Magic Mosses, Supernova Academy is the main training ground for aspiring heroes. It’s home to the Academy Tech Lab, where players can find Hero Items, gear behind rank-based doors, and powerful loot for purchase with Gold Bars. Expect close-quarter fights and vertical traversal challenges in this busy hotspot. Yes, it is a hub of Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 Super weapons.
Utopia City
This glitzy, futuristic location replaces Seaport City, now transformed into a metropolis full of sleek skyscrapers, office parks, and gleaming shops. With plenty of loot scattered across multilevel structures, Utopia City favors players who like high ground control and fast rotations.
Demon’s Domain
Once known as Masked Meadows, this dark new area now hosts Daigo the Mask Maker, a boss empowered by corrupted spirit magic. Fight your way through spire-infested terrain to challenge the Daigo boss in Fortnite. Defeating him will give you the Mythic Enhanced Spire Rifle and Infernal Defenses Medallion.
What’s More in the Fortnite Super Map?
There’s more than just POIs to watch out for this season. A few core map mechanics have also evolved to reflect the superhero theme. Here are all the other map changes you will find in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 Super:
- Shogun’s Solitude: The good old Shogun’s Solitude gets a new boss in Daigo’s lieutenant, Kor. Defeat her to get Mythic Kor’s Deadeye DMR and the Shrouded Striker Medallion.
- Sprite Overhaul: If you are just jumping into the map, you will find new Sprites around the new areas. The elemental Sprites return but have been swapped out for new types.
- Dash Sprite: Grants three dash charges to anyone in its area of effect—perfect for mobility-heavy players.
- Superman Sprite: Fires a devastating laser beam in a straight line, obliterating anything in its path.
- Academy Tech Labs: As mentioned, these are high-tech bunkers that contain Hero Item loot. While the first and only Tech Lab is at Supernova Academy right now, more will appear across the island as the season progresses. Upgrade your Hero Rank and spend Gold Bars to upgrade your kit in the labs.
