- The head being used as a mainframe by Hank in Fallout Season 2 episode 7 belongs to the congresswoman we were introduced to in episode 5.
- It appears that this head is being used as a replacement for a supercomputer to handle all the devices.
- There's a chance that she was in one of the cryo chambers, and Hank took her head to fulfill his mission.
Fallout Season 2 is headed towards its conclusion, and here we finally have the second-to-last episode of the show. Now, while this episode was an interesting watch, it felt more like a setup for the upcoming episode. However, there is a detail in this episode that took me by great surprise and, honestly, was somewhat disturbing. In the episode, we saw that Hank is using someone’s head as a mainframe for his mind control devices. Now, the question is, whose head is the mainframe in Fallout Season 2 Episode 7?
Whose Head Was Hank Using as the Mainframe in Fallout Season 2 Episode 7?

In Episode 7 of Fallout Season 2, we see that Lucy appears to be somewhat sold on Hank’s idea of putting his mind control devices on all the wastelanders, turning them into “civilized” people. However, she still insists on destroying the mainframe and bringing back the ones in the vault to their natural state.
However, just at the door, it appears that she has changed her mind about it. She then goes to have dinner with Hank, where she recognises one of the Wastelanders who was a member of the NCR, one of the factions in Fallout Season 2, but he has no recollection of it.
Lucy realises that the mind control devices don’t civilize people, it turns them into puppets. She then handcuffs Hank to the oven, takes his Pip-Boy, and goes to destroy the mainframe, which controls all the devices. However, as the doors open, she sees that the mainframe is a severed head of a woman. The severed head belongs to the Congresswoman whom we see in episode 5, and in episode 7, we see that she helps Cooper deliver the cold fusion to the President of the United States.
Why Is Hank Using a Head as his Mainframe?
While this has not been confirmed yet, I believe that to create a mainframe that would support all these mind control devices, Hank needed to get his hands on something like a supercomputer. However, in the wasteland, getting one would be next to impossible. Now, what’s the one thing that can handle as much data, and even more, compared to a supercomputer? The human brain.
My theory states that this congresswoman was in a cryo chamber, and Hank recognised her. So, he took her head and hooked it up to use it as a mainframe for his devices. However, as I mentioned above, this is just a theory I have, so let’s wait and see if we get to know the truth behind it in the final episode.
