- The latest Elden Ring Nightreign update introduced the Collector Signboard to the game, which features an option titled 'Alter Site of Grace.'
- Using this option, players can manually change the appearance of the Great Site of Grace, which is at the heart of Roundtable Hold.
- Players can choose between two visual styles. The first mirrors the table's look at the start of the game, while the second is darker and more desolate.
At the heart of Roundtable Hold in Elden Ring Nightreign sits the Expedition table, which also doubles as the Great Site of Grace. Throughout the game, the table’s appearance and the state of the Hold’s interiors can change drastically, going from resplendent to desolate without a warning. The latest content update for the game gives you control over its appearance, but you’ll need to unlock and find the option first. If you’re wondering how exactly to go about doing this, here’s everything to know about the Alter Site of Grace option in Elden Ring Nighreign.
Elden Ring Nightreign Alter Site of Grace Explained
As mentioned above, the ‘Alter Site of Grace’ option lets you change the appearance of the Great Site of Grace at the heart of Roundtable Hold in Elden Ring Nightreign. This option can only be accessed by interacting with the newly added Collector Signboard. And to unlock the vendor in the first place, you’ll need to complete the Everdark Sovereign version of the Gaping Jaw expedition.
Once that’s done, interact with the signboard and you’ll spot the Alter Site of Grace option. Selecting this option for the first time will cost you one Sovereign Sigil, but subsequent uses are completely free. After triggering it, run back to the Expedition table and you’ll find that its appearance is much different than how it was when you first spawned in.
By using the Alter option, you can alternate between two cosmetic visuals for Roundtable Hold. The first is its original aesthetic, with the table and the surrounding architecture being draped in gold. But if you aren’t a fan of decent lighting, select the alter option once again to switch to a gloomier appearance. The mood is despondent in this one, with thick blankets of dust circling the table and all nearby furniture being hammered to bits.
It’s a shame that such a feature was never added to Elden Ring, since the 2022 soulslike had a lot more variety when it came to the Hold’s appearance. Nevertheless, it’s great to see FromSoftware introduce the option in the spin-off.
And that is everything you need to know about the Alter Site of Grace option in Elden Ring Nightreign. Which of the two visual options do you prefer? Let us know in the comments below.
