Is There a Female Protagonist in Crimson Desert?

Yes, there is a playable female character in Crimson Desert named Damiane. She’s one of three playable characters in the game and will assist the main protagonist, Kliff Macduff, on his journey through Pywel. You’ll probably recognise her voice as she’s been portrayed by Rebecca Hansenn, best known for playing EVE in Stellar Blade.

Damiane’s play style is comparable to a glass cannon. She wields a rapier and a pistol in combat and can dodge attacks easily due to her mobility. Her combos can deal devastating damage, especially if you can close the distance on your enemies. That said, she’s held back by her low HP, so you’ll have to be careful about when to engage. Besides Damiane, there are no other playable female characters in the game. As mentioned earlier, you cannot manually select a character’s gender either. Although you can tweak Damiane’s appearance through cosmetic flourishes such as hairstyles and tattoos.
