In Short
  • The Call of Duty Season 1 Reloaded update for Black Ops 7 and Warzone will be released on January 8 at 9 AM PT.
  • It brings three multiplayer maps, two new weapons, and a selection of LTMs and events themed around a collaboration with Fallout.
  • The update also fleshes out the Endgame mode with a new Skill Track and two World Events.

After a content-packed first update, Call of Duty Black Ops 7 and Warzone are keeping the momentum going with Season 1 Reloaded. The mid-season content release isn’t as generous on new maps and weapons as it’s predeccessor, but it still offers up a boatload of new stuff to check out, including a full-scale collaboration with Amazon Prime’s Fallout series.

On top of this, players can unlock two new weapons and slide through three new maps, with even Endgame’s Avalon getting a bit of love. With all that being said, here’s everything new in Black Ops 7 and Warzone as part of Call of Duty Season 1 Reloaded.

Two new weapons have arrived as part of the Call of Duty Season 1 Reloaded update, both of which are event rewards:

  • Sturmwolf 45: Full-auto submachine gun. Very low recoil and good headshot damage. Lower handling, mobility, and range.
  • Hawker HX: Bolt-action Sniper Rifle.Fast handling and mobility. Higher recoil and flinch. Hold breath while ADS to steady.

The mid-season is also introducing three new attachments, including a full-auto conversion kit for the power-packed M8A1. Check out the full list below:

  • Coda 9 Adaptive Discharge Mod: Provides a faster fire rate with improved spread when fired off the hip and a slower fire rate with higher damage and range in ADS. Improves recoil control, but harms handling and mobility.
  • M8A1 Autostrike-X8 Conversion: Convert the M8A1 into a fully automatic weapon with a fast fire rate and controllable recoil. Improves headshot damage and handling but harms ranged firepower, aiming movement speed, and spread.
  • MPC-25 ContraBloom Laser: Removes virtually all hip spread and resists firing bloom. Improves non-ADS mobility with a significant damage range penalty. Provides Crossbar ADS with increased aiming idle sway. Blocks Underbarrel Attachments and Optics.

BO7 Season 1 Reloaded New Multiplayer Maps

A relatively modest selection of new maps (compared to Season 1) is being added to the playlist with the mid-season update. Still, all four look like fun playgrounds for sliding and slaying, with one of them being a Fallout-themed makeover of Nuketown.

  • Yakei: Traverse the rooftops of Japan in this new, small-sized map, bringing Operators up high over the neon-lit streets of the city. Track down enemy targets through the maintenance passage and over a series of ducts, vents, electrical equipment, and other rooftop features, including Wall Jumps to leap after fleeing foes.
  • Meltdown: This Black Ops 2 masterclass in map design returns in a stunning remaster as Meltdown. Go nuclear on the enemy team in the classic map featuring updated visuals, dynamic lighting, and the same intense moment-to-moment fights that cemented the map’s popularity.
  • Fringe: Based on the reimagined version of the map introduced in Black Ops 6 Season 04, Fringe returns, giving players the chance to revisit the idyllic Rolling Hills distillery with new Wall Jump opportunities.
  • Vault Town (Nuketown Variant): Drop into the suburbs of the future in this Nuketown map variant, bringing the retro-apocalyptic setting of Fallout to the iconic cul-de-sac. Sponsored by the Vault-Tec Corporation, Vault Town features special air purifiers removing all the dangerous particles one would normally breathe throughout the Wasteland, allowing residents to enjoy the fruits of classic suburban living.

New Multiplayer Modes

On the modes front, we’ve got two Fallout-themed LTMs and a fresh competitive experience named Takeover.

  • Takeover: Fight over a set of three neutral zones in this new dynamic objective mode combining elements of Hardpoint and Domination. Teams earn points for capturing a zone, which then disables that zone from the match. Once all three zones have been captured, they rotate to a new trio of zones following a short cooldown. Redouble your efforts with each subsequent shift of the objectives to achieve the highest score and win the match.
  • S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Mayhem: Brave the Wasteland as its irradiated atmosphere descends on Multiplayer, blanketing each map in toxic particles as players engage in a 6v6 moshpit of Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Hardpoint featuring S.P.E.C.I.A.L. buffs providing vital power-ups.
  • The Ghouls: Irradiated horrors swarm the surface as Vault Dwellers fight to survive a feral Ghoul outbreak in this 24-player Wasteland twist on Infected, where Vault Dwellers must scavenge for Perks and RadAway in an irradiated environment. Eliminated Vault Dwellers return as relentless Ghouls. Infect everyone or outlast the clock to win.

Black Ops 7 Season 1 Reloaded Endgame Content

As mentioned at the start, Black Ops 7’s Endgame mode continues to receive some attention in the Call of Duty Season 1 Reloaded update. This includes two new World Events and a new Skill Track named Phantom. Think of the skill tree as Ghost-like abilities, except with a proficiency for melee weapons. As for the World Events, here’s what to expect:

  • Wraith Wing: Grab your Launcher and a chunky LMG when this new World Event triggers, marking the arrival of the Wraith Wing, an advanced VTOL model produced by The Guild featuring cloning capabilities to bring deadly reinforcements into the fight.
  • Deathclaw Hunt: In this Limited Time World Event, a bomb blast reduces a portion of Avalon into a Fallout-inspired wasteland. Head inside the blast zone, if you dare, to brave the toxic air and take on ferocious Deathclaws defended by hordes of Feral Ghouls.

Call of Duty Warzone Season 1 Reloaded New LTMs

Moving on to Call of Duty Warzone, and Season 1 Reloaded isn’t exactly offering too much. In fact, the Battle Royale-specific additions can be narrowed down to two new LTMs:

  • High Octane: Experience a nonstop action adventure in this thrilling mode. All players deploy into the map with their chosen custom Loadout, with juiced-up loot across Verdansk, handing out Gas Masks, Grappling Hooks, and Legendary Weapons. To keep the pace up, expect greatly accelerated circle timings for a faster match experience.
  • Power Armor Royale: Remember Juggernauts? Well, this is basically the same except with a few additional steps. Keeping up with the Fallout theme, players will have to fill up Fusion Cores by earning canisters through Contracts, eliminating enemies, opening Supply Boxes, and dealing damage to armored opponents. Once the Fusion Core is filled, players can operate Power Armor, which is the only way to survive the radiation zones scattered around the map.

Call of Duty Season 1 Reloaded Events

Finally, let’s take a glance at all the new events coming to both Black Ops 7 and Warzone in Call of Duty Season 1 Reloaded:

  • Fallout Event Pass: Start your journey in the Wasteland as the “Dweller” and “Wanderer” Operator Skins, along with other rewards like the new Sturmwolf 45 SMG, “Vault-Tec” Weapon Camo, “Vault Boy” Weapon Charm, “Enjoy Your Stay” Loading Screen, and more.
  • Quantum Exchange: Collect bottle caps across all modes as part of the Quantum Exchange Event to unlock the new Hawker HX Sniper Rifle plus the “Nuka Assault” SMG Weapon Blueprint.
  • Baron of the Wasteland: Climb to the top and earn rewards based on your placement in this Wasteland-themed Leaderboard event featuring rewards for the top finishers.
