Best ABR A1 Loadout in Black Ops 6

The AUG has returned to Call of Duty, its latest iteration being the ABR A1 in Black Ops 6. Introduced via the Season 5 update, the ABR A1 packs quite the punch with three-round bursts that can floor enemies pretty quickly. Its high damage output is complemented by respectable handling and a decent base magazine size. As is the case with almost every new weapon, the AR will likely ascend to the top of the meta over the coming weeks. To make sure you aren’t left behind, check out our guide on the best ABR A1 loadout for BO6.

  • Muzzle: Suppressor
  • Barrel: Gain-Twist Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Ranger Foregrip
  • Rear Grip: Ergonomic Grip
  • Mods: Recoil Springs

Our ABR A1 loadout for Black Ops 6 preserves the weapon’s damage output, improves its performance at ranged gunfights, and lowers its upward kick and horizontal recoil. The end result is yet another AUG that racks up kills at an insane rate while being relatively easy to handle.

In the Muzzle slot, we’ve gone with the Suppressor, which is arguably among the best universal attachments in the game. It ensures that you don’t pop up as a red dot on enemy maps while firing, making it an essential pick across most weapons. Next, we’ve opted for the Gain-Twist Barrel to improve the ABR A1’s range, polishing its performance for mid-range gunfights. For a buff to sprint speeds and handling, we also recommend equipping the Ergonomic Grip.

Rounding out our loadout are a couple of attachments that iron out the AR’s recoil, including the Ranger Foregrip and the Recoil Springs mod. In case you’re wondering why we’ve skipped out on the optic, it’s because the weapon comes with an integrated sight. Of course, you can manually choose an alternative, with the Kepler Microflex being our go-to.

Best ABR A1 Class Setup in Black Ops 6

The ABR A1 can be really dominant by itself. It boasts solid damage output and exudes a sense of precision, thanks to the three-round burst fire. If you can get used to the weapon’s recoil, there aren’t any other shortcomings that should become a hindrance. With that being said, you’ll still need to pair the AR with the best Perks and Attachments to balance out your build. So, here is our recommended ABR A1 class setup.

Secondary Weapon

  • Muzzle: Ported Compensator
  • Barrel: Reinforced Barrel
  • Rear Grip: Quickdraw Grip
  • Laser: Target Laser
  • Fire Mods: Recoil Springs

The Grekhova is easy to recommend for the secondary, given its fully automatic fire rate and excellent accuracy. The pistol can be clutch when the ABR A1 runs out of bullets, especially since our loadout doesn’t feature an extended magazine.

Perks and Equipment

  • Perk 1: Ninja
  • Perk 2: Tracker
  • Perk 3: Cold-Blooded
  • Additional Perk: Vigilance
  • Wildcard: Perk Greed
  • Lethal: Semtex
  • Tactical: Stim Shot

Our Perk selection includes some of the best options Black Ops 6 has to offer, starting with Ninja, which silences your footsteps and helps you catch opponents off guard. Up next is Tracker, which highlights the enemy’s footsteps, allowing you to chase after them. We’ve gone with Cold-Blooded in the third slot since it masks your location when your opponent triggers a UAV, ensuring you’re still invisible on their minimap.

We recommend pairing these three with Vigiliance via Perk Greed, since it’s a direct counter to the Sleeper Agent ability, meaning an enemy camouflaged as a teammate won’t get the better of you. As for Equipment, feel free to go with the options you enjoy the most, but the Semtex and Stim Shot combination is always reliable.

And that wraps up our ABR A1 loadout guide for Black Ops 6. What do you make of the new Assault Rifle? Be sure to let us know in the comments.
