With the release of the Arc Raiders Riven Tides update, Embark Studios has revealed the Last Resort event, allowing players to unlock a plethora of new free rewards like an outfit, weapons, and much more. How to Progress in Arc Raiders Last Resort Event
You can progress in the Arc Raiders Last Resort event by earning Merits, the seasonal currency that was also tied to the progression in previous events like the Shared Watch event. Merits are earned through active gameplay across any map, though the new Riven Tides map offers unique opportunities for bonus gains.
The most consistent way to earn Merits is simply by playing Arc Raiders. Your standard Match XP is automatically converted into Merits at the end of every successful extraction. However, for those looking to accelerate their progress, the Last Resort event introduces Miniature Ship Models. These are rare physical items hidden throughout the world that carry high Merit values based on their rarity:
- Wind Sprite (Common)
- Twilight Compass (Uncommon)
- Velocity (Rare)
- Sirena Dorata (Epic)
- Leviathan’s Crown (Legendary)
Alongside the Last Resort event, players can also participate in the Avian Alarm project, which features other free Arc Raiders rewards for players to claim. However, players will have to collect materials to progress in this new player project.

When Does the Arc Raiders Last Resort Event End?
The Arc Raiders Last Resort event is set to end on May 25, 2026. This gives players roughly four weeks from the launch of the Riven Tides update to earn the necessary Merits and complete the reward track.
Remember that while the main event ends on May 25, the new Arc Raiders Expedition 3 window will close on May 11, 2026. If you are aiming to secure permanent skill points and stash space upgrades, prioritize the Expedition objectives before shifting your focus to the Last Resort event.
