This year’s Halloween is here in Roblox, which means that it’s time for the Spooky Update in 99 Nights in the Forest. There will be three Halloween updates in the game, and the first part is already live. You can Trick or Treat in the round, and redeem some amazing rewards and accessories from the new Scarecrow NPC. 99 Nights in the Forest Trick or Treat Explained
Lighting the new NPC houses with Halloween candles in 99 Nights in the Forest lets you Trick or Treat. After starting your game round, you’ll notice that there are Pumpkins and spider webs in the forest. By following the decorations, you can also find random houses in the forest, like the Fairy NPC house, Alien NPC house, and some more. Knocking on these houses will make the NPC give you candies as a treat or trick you.
Each home has a different NPC, who will come out and give you Candies. You’ll also need one candle to light each house, and you’ll be notified if a new house is available to light up. Always check your map to see which houses are available for collecting Candies. The locations will be indicated by a Grey Hut with a Candy symbol. You can also use 99 Nights in the Forest codes to gather more candies.
Once done, you need to wait for Night, as you cannot Trick or Treat during the day in 99 Nights in the Forest. After you have lit the house and it’s night, knock on the door of the houses. While you’ll always get some guaranteed Candies as a Treat, sometimes they might trick you and transform you into a frog or attach a Prison Ball on your leg. The Trick lasts for around five seconds, which won’t be an issue.
You can use Candies to buy new 99 Nights in the Forest classes and items from the Scarecrow NPC Shop in the lobby. You will get a sufficient amount of them by playing the event.
How to Get Halloween Candles in 99 Nights in the Forest
Before you light up the NPC houses, you must find the candles in the game. You can get Halloween Candles from Cultist drops and chests in 99 Nights in the Forest.
Killing a Cultist will have a chance to drop a Halloween Candle. During the early days, you’ll get fewer Candles as the drop rate is very low.
However, after Day 4, the drop rate slightly increases, especially after the Cultist attack on your camp. The more Days you survive, the higher the Candle drop rate. We recommend hunting down Cultists in the Volcanic Biome, as there are plenty of them in the buildings.
Lastly, you can get Candles by opening Chests. Getting Candles from the chest is much more difficult due to the lower drop rate, with so many items available in Chests.
