28 Years Later revived one of the most loved franchises, and fans were quite happy to see that and now, we have a sequel titled 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple which is currently running in the theaters. However, while the movie itself is well done, there are a lot of elements in the film working together all at once, which might initially cause you confusion, but things become rather clear soon. How Does 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple End?

In the final act of 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, we see that Doctor Kelson, under threat from Jimmy Crystal, puts on a show acting like Satan, but as soon as he hears what Crystal plans to do, and spots Spike stuck with him, he decides to fight back. He successfully created doubt among the Jimmys, but as Jimmy Ink approached Crystal to attack, Crystal stabbed Kelson fatally, but was stabbed back by none other than Spike, and Jimmy Ink killed the other Jimmys as they attacked her.

Kelson dies, and Spike leaves along with Jimmy Ink. Soon, Samson shows up, cured, and thanks Kelson for giving him his humanity back, and carries his dead body somewhere.

Following this, we are taken to a different location altogether, and we see none other than Cillian Murphy in 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple teaching his daughter. However, they are interrupted by a sound, and they both go out to check what it was. There, they see Spike and Jimmy Ink running from the infected and decide to help them. This event sets up Cillian Murphy’s involvement in the upcoming third instalment of the 28 Years Later franchise, and now all that’s left to see is what direction the story will take from this point on.
