Everything You Need to Know About 007 First Light
007 First Light is an action-adventure narrative game that will also feature its fair share of espionage. As the name suggests, the game follows the story of a young James Bond, who has been recruited into MI6’s training program. You can expect the game to reveal the legendary spy’s origin, something we have yet to see on the big screen.
When it comes to gameplay, here is what we have seen from the trailers:
- Combat: Primarily melee, guns, and gadgets.
- Vehicles: Riding cars and boats have been revealed so far as part of missions.
- Puzzles: There will likely be puzzles or clues that must be pieced together.
- Stealth: Expect the game to have a ton of stealth mechanics. We all know Hitman games are among the best stealth games out there.
- Throwable objects: Recent trailers have revealed that you can chuck nearby objects at enemies to distract, stun, and damage them. Combining it with the hilarious stealth mechanics IO Interactive A/S is famous, the game looks like an absolute joy to play.

The 007 First Light TGA trailer also revealed one of the villains, named Bawma, played by Lenny Kravitz, a well-known singer with four consecutive Grammy Awards under his belt. He has also done a lot of acting in well-known films like The Hunger Games.
The gameplay reveal also showed a light-hearted banter and a bluff mechanic where our favorite spy can get out of trouble by weaving excuses from thin air. From what we saw from trailers, the execution of the mechanic seems flawless, and I cannot wait to test it out. If it is anything close to what Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 pulled off last year, gamers would be loving it on its release.
