In that spirit, the devs have added iconic weapons from that era, including Thumbtacks and Shopping Carts. In addition to this, you’ll also be able to stack tables on top of each other, which was another classic WWE SvR feature finally coming to the WWE 2K franchise.
Upgraded Physics Interactions and Stamina System
The Stamina and Reversal systems are being revamped in WWE 2K26 to add another layer of strategy to the gameplay. The devs recognised that matches can often boil down to reversal fests, where players essentially wait to counter their opponents’ moves instead of going on the offensive. These changes are aimed at addressing these issues and should result in a more challenging experience.
Another interesting upgrade is the variety of physics interactions in the game. The aim here is to make matches feel more dynamic and dangerous. So, for example, if you’re fighting on the rampway, you can power bomb your opponent off the ledge without their fall being broken by an invisible wall – like it was in WWE 2K25. Similarly, if you slam your opponent into a chair or on top of the steel steps, they will react accordingly and take extra damage. WWE 2K26 finally obliges, as it’ll feature 200 Create-A-Superstar slots as well as 2000 custom image slots.
