This movie has given birth to a new era of Transformers and in my opinion, it was long overdue. So, now the question that might have been bugging you is if there is going to be a sequel to Transformers One. Transformers One Post Credit Scene Sets Up Transformers Two
So, you folks are going to be pretty excited to know that yes, there is going to be a Transformers Two. Initially, the creators of Transformers One stated that if the movie does well at the Box Office, they would start working on a sequel for it, and considering how well this movie has been doing, a sequel is imminent.
Lorenzo di Bonaventura, the Producer of Transformers One spoke to Screen Rant in an interview and said,
“There are going to be two things. Number one, if we’re successful with this movie, we’re going to do a sequel for this. We already have, I think, the beginnings of a really interesting story for the second one, which is also character based, the way the first [is].” – Lorenzo di Bonaventura, the Producer of Transformers One
However, this is not the only thing confirming a sequel for Transformers One. In the Transformers One post-credit scene, we get to see Megatron form the Decepticons and make Megatronus Prime’s head their emblem. In the scene, he says that the war is not over yet so, it’s pretty evident a sequel is certain to happen.
What Could be the Plot of Transformers One Sequel
As of now, we can’t say anything about the plot of this sequel. However, the post-credit scene in Transformers One hints at a war coming between Decepticons and the faction led by Optimus Prime. The sequel could bring us the War of Cybertron. We have seen in other Transformer movies that the War of Cybertron was the reason behind the destruction of Cybertron. As of now, there are no details available officially and we might have to wait for some to learn more about Transformers One sequel.
