Severance Season 2 is in full swing with the release of its second episode. This episode shows us the aftermath of the stunt pulled by the innies being faced by their outie personas. In the first episode, we were told the employees involved in activating the overtime contingency protocol refused to return except Mark. However, Mark was not the only one to return. Ms. Cobel, for letting Milchick know about the activation of the Overtime Contingency Protocol, was also offered to be reinstated. Has she returned to Lumon in Severance Season 2 Episode 2? Ms. Cobel Has Probably Returned to Lumon in Severance Season 2
In episode 2 of Severance Season 2, we see that after Milchick stops Dylan and turns off the innie personas of Mark, Helly, and Irving, Helena Eagan’s father is disappointed with what has happened and leaves Helena to clean her mess. Helena orders Milchick to go and see if the innie’s said anything to the outie’s families and when he asks Helena if they should fire these employees, Helena leaves the decision up to Milchick.
After this, Helena meets Mrs. Cobel and ensures her that everything has been taken care of while also thanking Cobel for quickly informing Milchick that the OTC has been turned on. Helena apologizes to Cobel for treating her poorly and also apologizes on behalf of her father, and the board. Helena also welcomes Cobel back to Lumon but instead of making her the boss of the severed floor, she offers her the position of leading the Severance Advisory Council calling it a promotion.
Even though Cobel seemed to be somewhat skeptical, we see her packing her bags and leaving by the end of Severance Season 2 Episode 2 so it seems that she has probably taken the offer considering her loyalty to the organization. She might have been asked to move away because now Mark knows that she has been his boss all along. So, let’s wait and see what happens, and till then, stay tuned with us for more updates!
