In an early Black Friday Samsung Odyssey G55T deal, the 34-inch gaming monitor is currently on sale for $549 $229 making it an excellent deal for those looking for a large, curved Quad HD and a high refresh rate monitor. It’s an IPS monitor with HDR10 support and 165 Hz refresh rate. It’s also color-accurate and covers over 98% of the sRGB color gamut.
But, Why Buy Samsung Odyssey G5 Now?
You should buy the Odyssey G5 because there aren’t many monitors out there in a similar price range offering an IPS panel, let alone one that’s this color-accurate. You may have concerns about the Pixel Density because it’s 2K and 34 inches, but a density of 108 PPI is pretty good for gaming. There’s unfortunately no Local Dimming support, but considering what you’re already getting for $229, the Odyssey G5 is, quite honestly, a steal.
