The latest update in Grow a Garden is all about prehistoric items, whether it’s the new seeds or pets in the game. So, participating in the new event at the center can grant you some Dinosaur eggs, and these now-extinct animals have unique abilities. There are two simple ways to get Dinosaur eggs, or directly get pets, and we have discussed them both in our guide below.

How to Get Dinosaur Eggs and Pets in Grow a Garden

The Dinosaur pet eggs can be obtained in the following two ways:

  • Trading existing pets that you have
  • Completing prehistoric quests located in the central area
  • Crafting Dinosaur eggs using common eggs

1. From Trading Pets

Trading your unused pets at the Dinosaur Eggs stall is the easiest way to obtain the dinosaur pets or eggs in Grow a Garden. Here is how it works:

  • Walk up to the Dinosaur Eggs stall in the central area and interact with Graham NPC.
  • Hold out a pet that you wish to trade and select the “Take this Petdialogue option.
  • Graham will take the pet, and the DNA machine on his left will power up.
  • Then, it’s just a matter of time before the machine gives out a random Dinosaur pet.
  • Or, it will give you a Dinosaur egg that you can later place in your garden to hatch pets.

3. From Crafting

The third and final way to get dinosaur eggs is by crafting them. This mechanic has been introduced in the Grow a Garden Pet mutations update. However, it requires you to complete the weekly quest at least once. Why do I say that? Let’s find out in the steps below:

  • Just beside the Blair NPC at the center of the map, there’s a small crafting table.
  • Press the ‘E‘ key to interact with it and scroll down to find the recipe for the Dinosaur egg.
  • You require the following materials: 1x Common Egg, 1x Bone Blossom fruit, and 5.5 Million Sheckles to craft a Dinosaur Egg.
  • Click the craft button and then submit the required materials at the crafting table.
  • Now, pay the 5.5 Million Sheckles and wait 30 minutes for the crafting to complete.
  • Once the timer runs out, you can collect the Dinosaur egg from the crafting station.
