Dig Horns Guide: How to Get and Use Them

In Dig, you can battle various bosses to earn exclusive rewards like shovels, charms, XP, and money. While many bosses spawn naturally, they can take time to appear. To speed things up, you must use the boss horns to summon them manually. There are also weather horns that let you trigger special weather events. In this guide, learn about all the Horns in Dig, including their prices and where you get them.

List of All Horns in Dig

Before you start buying horns in Roblox Dig, keep in mind that they can be expensive, especially if you are in the early or mid-game stages. Even so, a few of them are worth the price because of how useful they are. Some horns are easy to find, while others are tucked away in specific Dig locations across the map.

Whether you’re changing the weather to dig out a rare item or summoning a boss for a quest, these horns can help you in situations. Moreover, the boss horns come with a cooldown in Dig that limits how quickly you can use them again. With that in mind, here’s the complete list of horns you will find in Dig:

1. Seafarer’s Horn

Seafarer's Horn Dig
  • Price: $25,000
  • Location: Combat Guild (2528, 84, 1297)
  • Cooldown: 3 minutes

The Seafarer’s Horn can be found sitting on the left side table inside the Combat Guild, located in Fernhill Forest. This horn is used to summon the Crab King boss at Cinder Shores in Dig.

That said, you won’t be able to buy it right away. When you try to purchase it, a message will appear saying you need to defeat the Crab King once to complete the purchase. Once you’ve taken it down, the horn becomes available to buy. After using the horn, you will need to wait 3 minutes before you can use it again.

2. Phantom Horn

  • Price: $45,000
  • Location: Combat Guild (2528, 84, 1297)
  • Cooldown: 3 minutes

The Phantom Horn is the second horn placed on the left table inside the Combat Guild. This horn is used to summon the Candlelight Phantom boss in the Rooftop Woodlands region.

To unlock it, you must first defeat the Candlelight Phantom at least once. After that, return to the guild to purchase the horn. Phantom Horn also has a 3-minute cooldown once you use it.

3. Toxic Horn

  • Price: $55,000
  • Location: Combat Guild (2528, 84, 1297)
  • Cooldown: 3 minutes

Before you get the Toxic Horn in Dig, you must go on a little adventure. First, you must reach level 20 in Dig and complete 50% of the Cinder Island journal to be able to purchase the ferry ticket for $3,000.

Then, take the Cinder Ferry, reach Copper Mesa, and defeat the Basilisk at least once. That is when you will unlock the Toxic Horn that lets you summon the Basilisk boss at Copper Mesa.

The Basilisk is one of the easier bosses to beat, especially if you’re equipped with the best shovels in Dig. After using the horn, there’s a 3-minute cooldown before it can be activated again.

4. Webs Horn

  • Price: $60,000
  • Location: Combat Guild (2528, 84, 1297)
  • Cooldown: 7 minutes

Unlike the other boss horns, Webs Horn takes some grinding to buy. To unlock it, you must first defeat five bosses in Dig. Once that’s done, return to the Combat Guild to purchase the horn.

The horn only works at the Spider’s Keep, so take it there inside Cinder Cavern level 1 and use it to summon the Giant Spider. When players use it, a message appears on the server announcing that the Giant Spider has been spotted, and all players can join the fight. Unlike other boss horns, this horn has a 7-minute cooldown.

5. Horizon Horn

  • Price: $9,000
  • Location: O’Myers Secret Shop (1918, 82, 298), Dig as loot

The Horizon Horn is found inside a secret cave called O’Myers Shop, located in Fernhill Forest just before the entrance to Cinder Shores. This cave holds three weather-related horns, and the Horizon Horn sits on top of the crate at the center.

If you don’t wish to spend money, you can also dig up the horn as bonus loot. You can use the Horizon Horn to switch between day and night in Dig. If the cycle is in day, using the horn will turn it to the beginning of night, and if it’s night, it will switch to day.

6. Tempest Horn

  • Price: $9,000
  • Location: O’Myers Secret Shop (1918, 82, 298), Dig as loot

The Tempest Horn can be found on the left crate inside O’Myers Shop, the hidden cave in Fernhill Forests near the entrance to Cinder Shores. Unlike boss horns, weather horns aren’t locked behind quests or boss fights, so you can buy them right away.

Using the Tempest Horn will change the server’s weather to rainy, which can help in digging up items with rainy weather as the preference. However, the rainy weather only lasts until the next day/night cycle, so it’s best to use the horn at the beginning of a new cycle for full effect.

7. Stormcaller Horn

  • Price: $15,000
  • Location: O’Myers Secret Shop (1918, 82, 298), Dig as loot

The Stormcaller Horn is the third and final horn found inside O’Myers Shop in Fernhill Forest. This horn lets you summon Stormy (Thunderstorm) weather in your server. If you don’t want to buy it, there’s a small chance to dig it up as bonus loot. You can boost the chances by using the Abundant enchantment on a Magnet Shovel.

Like the rainy weather, Stormy only lasts for one day/night cycle, and using the Horizon Horn will cancel it. Since Stormy only has a 1.75% natural spawn chance, the horn can be a useful shortcut.

8. Blue Moon Horn

  • Price: $200,000
  • Location: Alona Jungle (-8021, 345, -1797)

The Blue Moon Horn is a powerful weather event horn found at Tiki’s Shop in the Alona Jungle on the second island. To reach it, first, take the ferry to Copper Mesa, then head deeper into the jungle until you find the Phoenix Tribe. One of the huts will have a banner that reads Tiki’s Shop, that’s where the horn is sold.

Using the Blue Moon Horn triggers a Blue Moon event, doubling the strength of every player across the server. It can only be used at night and is also the only way to summon the massive and sleeping boss— Molten Monstrosity in Dig. Since the horn is quite expensive, it’s best saved for late-game progression.

9. Radiant Horn

  • Price: $300,000
  • How to get: Cinder Cavern/Spiders Keep (3941, -319, -2561)

Unlike the other horns, the Radiant Horn is not available at a shop in Dig. To find it, you need to head to Cinder Cavern, take the elevator to Level 1, and follow the cobwebs to reach the Spider’s Keep area. There, you will spot the Radiant Horn on a ledge to the right, just behind an NPC.

Using this horn triggers a Meteor Shower event across the entire server, which will 3x luck for a limited time. During the event, a meteor crashes at a random location, offering rare rewards like the Starfire Shovel, Blood Crown charm, and Celestial Totem.

That wraps up the full list of all horns in Dig, including where to find them and how they’re used in-game. So, which Dig shovels are you using to dig the weather horns? Let us know in the comments below!
